2. In order for my audience to connect to the music video, I decided
to use low-lighting in almost every one of my scene’s to make it
darker, and to make the storyline seem more rebellious which is a
typical stereotype for the gothic culture.
3. They might talk about it in their social groups after the video about
how they won’t ever allow themselves to be dominated by a male
figure presented in the way he is in this video, and how they want to be
independent women, just like the main character in the video.
In addition, it would make the women who are watching this think
twice before they let themselves be dominated in a relationship, and
learn that it’s not right; consequently leaving
This could potentially create some social interaction within the social
group as well, perhaps starting with the lines “Have you seen that new
music video for Evanescence?!”
They’re trying to find a way to make themselves feel better about the
lives they have now, and to find a “hero” to start to look up to, and in
this case it’s the main character in this video.
What I want is the viewers to identify themselves against the main
character, because everyone has had bad experience in their life, and if
they watch this, then they’ll realise that you can get past it easily.

4. I don’t think that they would copy the character completely, but they
could potentially see some traits that they think are similar and pick
up on them.
Most people think that the music industry has a bad influence on the
citizens, but I wanted to change that, by showing them courage and
bravery in my music video.
