Colour Palettes NME magazine use a very consistent colour palette of black, white and red. This colour palette is very effective and NME use this colour palette for nearly every magazine and also use it for there website. The audience recognise that this colour palette is associated with NME due to the consistent use of black, white and red.
Colour Palette Q magazine also use a consistent colour palette, however they are only consistent with the colour of the title ‘Q’, using red and white. This consistent colour palette helps the audience to instantly recognise the magazine.
Colour Palette This is the colour palette I have chosen to use for my magazine. I chosen these colours because they are sophisticated and I believe they are effective when put together. I was thinking of using the teal colour as my base colour and using black and grey as my text colour. I used similar colours in my preliminary magazine earlier in the year and I think the colour scheme worked well. If I am using the light teal colour as my base layer I will dress the model in dark colours to contrast and make the model standout.
