2. How does your media product
represent particular social groups?
 Our sequence has the social group of
teenagers and includes different
ethnicities and social class. This is seen
by one character being a young English
working boy and the other being a
young teen.You could see this vie the
clothing, Shaun the main character
was wearing smart black jeans and a
white shirt with a jacket and converse,
we thought it would be a good idea for
him to look young and fashionable to
attract our target audience of
teenagers, the other character which
on the sequence is dead is also wearing
jeans a t-shirt and a blue jacket which a
stereotypical teenager may wear.
 Gender is represented by only males in our
sequence implying it’s a male dominated
film, but to me watched by all sexes. By
using only male we hope this will not
effect the target audience as no females
are shown at all. Our target was to link the
film to different ethnicity and social class
to suit the target audience of what they
want to see in a horror, to improve we
could of added females and mixed the
class up a bit for interest. In modern up to
date movies now, ethnicity is a big thing
and is appearing more throughout films of
different genres.
