EXPLAINIG THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT (MODELS) etc is good only if we
have the capacity to appreciate our(Global)past (analysed with an open
scientific quest that is near Divinity) and then relating it with the present
and then visualising the future. Don’t mistake that a (correct and
honest)VIEW OF THE PAST is a wasteful exercise -THEY ARE ALL LINKED
together and the best of future society model is possible if only we all join
as a member of a (GLOBAL) family ! For that you need to know how to
connect well (bond !).So happy bonding with a love that is Divinised !
DEVELOPMENT (MODELS)-THEN, NOW AND FUTURE
By ESWARA CHANDRAMOULI (a retired IT savvy management professional)
A simili from Tattvaloka -- issue dated November 2010
Compare life’s critical transactions to the automobile driver .While the cars front view ie
thro the windshield glass is like seeing our future (transactions),the rear mirror is like the
past (views) and the driver is " all of us" driving (steering the car ) representing the
present. So looking at the past is to be done that way like the way one drives a car – and
when it is good and useful to see the rear view mirror – is decided only by a good driver !

Identify countries that had developed sea links through their identifiablesimilarities of ancient
civilisation cultures ? Statistical techniques like Regression analysis may be tried to
http://www.valuebasedmanagement.net/methods_regression_analysis.html to establish a
rleation ship or similarities between diiferent civilisation cultures. In statistics, correlation and
dependence are any of a broad class of statistical relationships between two or more random
variables or observed data values.
Familiar examples of dependent phenomena include the correlation between the
physical statures of parents and their offspring, and the correlation between the demand for a
product and its price. Correlations are useful because they can indicate a predictive
relationship that can be exploited in practice.
Though we usually treat the oceans as four separate entities, they are
actually interconnected. This can be seen most easily by looking at a map of
the world as seen from the South Pole. From this view it is clear that the
Pacific, the Atlantic and Indian oceans are large branches of one vast ocean
system. The connections among the major basins allow seawater, materials,
and some organisms to move from one "ocean" to another. Because the
"oceans" are actually one great interconnected system, oceanographers
often speak of a single world ocean. They also refer to the continuous body
of water that surrounds Antarctic as the Southern Ocean.
South Africa's Cape coast attracts thousands of local and international
tourists each year to witness the Indian and Atlantic oceans splashing
together - The confluence of the two oceans.
Ocean interconnect Vs Possibility of Migration of
Ancient civilisation taking the ocean route
The Pacific Ocean meets the Atlantic south of South America at Cape
Horn,Chile. In reality, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans only exist as separate
oceans because it is only an imaginary line of seperation
Indian ocean countries
The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's oceanic divisions, It is bounded on the
north by the Indian subcontinent; on the west by East Africa; on the east by Indochina,
the Sunda Islands, and Australia; and on the south by the Southern Ocean (or, depending
on definition, by Antarctica). It is the only ocean to be named after a country, i.e., India
As one component of the interconnected global ocean, the Indian Ocean is delineated
from the Atlantic Ocean by the 20° east meridian running south from Cape Agulhas, and
from the Pacific by the meridian of 146°55' east[5]. The northernmost extent of the Indian
Ocean is approximately 30° north in the Persian Gulf. The Indian Ocean has
asymmetric ocean circulation[citation needed].
The sudden collapse of the ancient peruvian civilisation, or the
First South American Civilisation etc might have been by calamities like
Earthquake, epidemics etc. We cant also rule out their decimation thro aggressive
occupation by invading/aggressive migrating communites etc.
Refer boOk by the author Hugh Thomson “THE WHITE ROCK “.The aggressive
Spaniards virtually elimiatd the Inca tribes of ancient Peru.
Archaeologists excavating at the ancient
Peruvian coastal civilization called Caral have
recovered an artifact
which may represent one of the earliest forms
of communication in the world, roughly
equivalent in age to the cuneiform of
Mesopotamia.
History of The Incas
http://www.peru-travel-confidential.com/history-of-the-
incas.html
The history of the incas is way more complex of what the people believe, even today
with the power of the internet, only very few people have a blur understating of what
the inca empire was; In this page you will find all that you need to know about the
incas.
The inca civilization has barely 1000 years of history, since the point of birth as a
simple tribe in the heart of the Andes, to the magnificent inca empire that we know
today.
Here you will find interesting aspects of the history of the incas, like the inca religion,
that had approximate 6000 priest distributed all over the kingdom, where the Huillac
Uma or supreme priest was the equivalent of the pope of our days.
The model of the inca culture was clear and simple, it was a free of hunger society,
with peace among the people and where the Hatunruna or standard citizen, knew that
him and his family were protected of natural disasters.
The inca people was part of a estrange mixture of socialism, imperialism and
generalize brain wash, that is quite difficult to catalog, because they reach only the
copper as the stronger metal, so they should be qualify as a copper age civilization.
For snaps of Machu Pichu and other Peru’s ancient sites see next slide
Many archaeologist and investigators have underestimated the
complexity of the incas culture; The true is that they develop
medicine remedies and treatments, art styles, magnificent pottery,
technology in many fields, weapons development, complex
metallurgy processes, war strategy, amazing architecture and
much more.
The inca art expression goes from music, textile, carving wood,
carving stone, metallurgy art and even poetry; The inca people did
not have writing, so the poetry was pass from father to son in shape
of tales and verbal traditions.
The inca pottery was simple and functional, the incas produce two
kind of ceramics, the ceremony style and the massive production
ceramics, they were in limited shapes and with a very simple
geometrical decorations with stylized images of animals and day by
day activities.
The inca technology had a great understanding of mathematics,
agriculture, advance development of crops, medicine, hydraulics,
astronomy, architecture and military strategy.

What is the study of ancient civilization called?
What ever it is including the name may be archeology/PAST exploration etc, all
I would like to say is that thanks to (Google search inclusive) and technology of
today, in matter of an hour I could contruct these slides keeping my system in an
online mode. Todays technology is evolving and in innovative ways the
advancement of society is going to take place is my vision for the future.
Knowledge society will expand and will play its very useful role in
reaching/practicing/guiding ,the ultimate forms of Governance etc.Like the
industrial revolution, information technolgy revolutions etc of the past we will
witness revolutionary modls of Governance aided by TECHNOLY.
So remain positive is the message and may we all remain blessed for a contribution
to such excellence in Governance.

Kublai Khan as the First Yuan Emperor
For some three decades until his death in 1294, the grandson of the famed Mongol
warlord Chingiz, or Genghis, ruled over much of what is today China. Kublai Khan spent
most of his reign expanding his domain and vanquishing pretenders to his throne — in
the process, historians say, he laid the foundations of the modern Chinese state. The
empire of his Yuan dynasty was said to be a continent unto itself, its cities teeming with
gold and the chatter of people from countless lands. The myth of his power was
irrepressible. Once, while at the sidelines of a battle the emperor was sure to win, the
voyaging Italian merchant Marco Polo saw "the Kaan" on a hill, surveying his massed
legions from a perch atop a wooden tower. The tower was mounted on the backs of
"four well-trained elephants.“

Model of a Stage with Five Actors
The Mongols are often characterized by the savagery of their warfare, but the Yuan era saw
the refinement and crystallization of a number of Chinese artistic traditions that all linger to
this day. This is especially true for theater — represented by this 13th century ceramic display.
Over nine hundred plays were produced during the Yuan period, and its tales of fairy spirits
and corrupt officials still circulate in current productions of Peking opera.

Mahakala of the Tent
The Yuan dynasty oversaw a revival of
Buddhism in China, which had lapsed in
preceding centuries. They practiced, by and
large, a more esoteric, Tibetan strain of
Buddhism, replete with terrifying spirits and
protective deities. The Mahakala of the Tent
was of particular importance to the Yuan and
this small stone totem was likely carried to war
as a helmet of a soldier.

Kublai's kingdom was not only about the
Silk Road over land. Ports flourished, with
diverse communities of merchants settling
in a number of southern Chinese cities.
This stone relief of an elephant came from
Quanzhou, in today's Fujian province, and
likely belonged to a Hindu temple set up by
Tamil traders.

and has no comparison.
THAILAND RESPECTS DIFFERENT CULTURES OF THEIR PAST
The Indus Valley Civilization (IVC) was a Bronze Age civilization (3300–1300 BCE; mature
period 2600–1900 BCE) which was centred mostly in the western part[1] of theIndian
Subcontinent[2][3] and which flourished around the
Indus River basin.[n 1] Primarily centered along the Indus
and the Punjab region, the civilization extended into the
Ghaggar-Hakra River valley[7] and the Ganges-Yamuna
Doab,[8][9] encompassing most of what is now Pakistan,
as well as extending into the westernmost states of modern
-dayIndia, southeastern Afghanistan, and the easternmost part of Balochistan, Iran.
The mature phase of this civilization is known as the Harappan Civilization, as the first of
its cities to be unearthed was the one at Harappa, excavated in the 1920s in what was at
the time the Punjab province of British India (now in Pakistan).[10] Excavation of IVC sites
have been ongoing since 1920, with important breakthroughs occurring as recently as
1999.[11] Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is another well-known
archeological site. The Harappan language is not directly
attested and its affiliation is unknown, though Proto-Dravidian,
Elamo-Dravidian, or (Para-)Munda relations have been posited by
scholars such as Iravatham Mahadevan,Asko Parpola, F.B.J. Kuiper,
and Michael Witzel. Essentially a city culture, Harappan life was supported by extensive
agricultural production, commerce and trade. By around 2000 BC, though, the Harappan
civilization had collapsed and what caused it is not decipherable.

Ancient Civilizations
Ancient civilizations are the basis of the world as we know it today, built on
the ruins of 10,000 years of advanced cultures such as the Greek, Roman,
Mesopotamia, Mayan, Indus, Egyptian, and others that we know primarily
through archaeology and some written records.

Remember:
Senior Citizens Are
Valuable
We are more valuable
than any of the
younger generations.
We have silver in our
hair.
We have gold in our
teeth.
We have stones in our
kidneys.
We have lead in our
feet and.
We are loaded with
natural gas!
We have a CEG 65 yahoo Group site for our college (1965) batchmates of Guindy
Engineering College( it is an Educational institution, more than 100 years Old ) and is in
Chennai,India. Most of them held positions(in management)and few people like us held
(present day IT,computers.communications etc fields) that are technology related positions. At
that time only in our college a new division called Electronics and telecommunications was
introduced in our college.(About four decades back). We are now in our mid sixties and some
of us have still not lost the sense of humour. They have the knack of changing the nature of
topics thro humour! So it helps to mix fun in order that we enjoy creativity in a right
spirit. When we discuss the Buddhism ways of wheel of life, one guy will post a mail calling it as
Newage wheel of life. See below ! And also see the never ending curiousity exhibited by
the peeping child at stage 1 and the (oldie!) child at the end/last stage !
So creativity is to be viewed with a right spirit and it should not to be feared !

Upanishad
Core Message Equivalent Mgmt message for today
1 Isavasya
Upanishad
Reality as Brahman pervades over
everything (as matter, and living being).
Divinity appearing to be so small is also in
you as well as spread over the entire
universe as existance bliss, and is known as
cosmic consciousness. When the mind is in
a less advanced state of development, it is
difficult to get this perception and hence
this Upanishad dwells on the relationship
between the self or Atman and the Divine.
In Organisations, for success there
is a need for the feeling of oneness
belonging to the Organisation, at all
levels of management and the work
force ( inspite of the hierarchies).Like
everyone has the potential to become a
Chairman or President in an
Organisation and should strive for it,
but have also accepted their respective
position, with the right frame of mind,
and are happy on account of that. But
aiming for the Goal and striving for
excellence is always there.
2 Kena
Upanishad
To facilitate the right perception
about the Brahman, the mind has to be
conditioned from its lower influences of
the body and mind (Known as Thamasic
and Rajasic state) and Taken to a Higher
consciousness thro the . (Note that this
state is also not free from attachments due
to the influence of the Worldly activities).
When decisions are taken with the
right frame of mind, known in
Transaction Analysis as Adult state of
mind , a manager is bound to succeed.
Please also note that decisions taken in
a party or dinner or in Golf courts are
not necessarily the best as the mind is in
a Thamasic state and is not capable of
taking qualitative decisions,as that
requires Rajasisc or Satwic state of
mind. It is in the satwic state of mind
that the emotions are under check (or in
full control) and it is here, ones mind is
focussed to achieve the objectives (or
Goals ).It is also scientifically proven
that the decisions are more qualitiative
in the alpha state of mind (where one
entertains least nor of transactions in the
mind!).
The Core Concepts of Vedic /Upanishadic Mgmnt Sciences of the ancient indian civilisation & its applicability even today’ to all mgmt
concepts (Technlogy enabled) Management and in all walsk of life !
Katha
Upanishad
This Upanishad discusses about death and the state of mind
at the time of death and what happens after death.and the cycle of
birth and death. Entire details are framed as a discussion between a
human disciple ( Naciketa ) and Yama the Lord of death. Naciketa
did not approve of his fathers ritualistic practices (of giving away
old cattles as gift etc), and as a result of his questioning his father,
he incurrs the wrath of his father, who feeling angry and unable to
give proper explanation, asks his son, to meet Yama for an
explanation regarding death.

Creative (development)Then,now and future

  • 1. EXPLAINIG THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT (MODELS) etc is good only if we have the capacity to appreciate our(Global)past (analysed with an open scientific quest that is near Divinity) and then relating it with the present and then visualising the future. Don’t mistake that a (correct and honest)VIEW OF THE PAST is a wasteful exercise -THEY ARE ALL LINKED together and the best of future society model is possible if only we all join as a member of a (GLOBAL) family ! For that you need to know how to connect well (bond !).So happy bonding with a love that is Divinised ! DEVELOPMENT (MODELS)-THEN, NOW AND FUTURE By ESWARA CHANDRAMOULI (a retired IT savvy management professional) A simili from Tattvaloka -- issue dated November 2010 Compare life’s critical transactions to the automobile driver .While the cars front view ie thro the windshield glass is like seeing our future (transactions),the rear mirror is like the past (views) and the driver is " all of us" driving (steering the car ) representing the present. So looking at the past is to be done that way like the way one drives a car – and when it is good and useful to see the rear view mirror – is decided only by a good driver !

Statistical techniques like Regression analysis may be tried to http://www.valuebasedmanagement.net/methods_regression_analysis.html to establish a rleation ship or similarities between diiferent civilisation cultures. In statistics, correlation and dependence are any of a broad class of statistical relationships between two or more random variables or observed data values. Familiar examples of dependent phenomena include the correlation between the physical statures of parents and their offspring, and the correlation between the demand for a product and its price. Correlations are useful because they can indicate a predictive relationship that can be exploited in practice.
  • 4. Though we usually treat the oceans as four separate entities, they are actually interconnected. This can be seen most easily by looking at a map of the world as seen from the South Pole. From this view it is clear that the Pacific, the Atlantic and Indian oceans are large branches of one vast ocean system. The connections among the major basins allow seawater, materials, and some organisms to move from one "ocean" to another. Because the "oceans" are actually one great interconnected system, oceanographers often speak of a single world ocean. They also refer to the continuous body of water that surrounds Antarctic as the Southern Ocean. South Africa's Cape coast attracts thousands of local and international tourists each year to witness the Indian and Atlantic oceans splashing together - The confluence of the two oceans. Ocean interconnect Vs Possibility of Migration of Ancient civilisation taking the ocean route The Pacific Ocean meets the Atlantic south of South America at Cape Horn,Chile. In reality, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans only exist as separate oceans because it is only an imaginary line of seperation
  • 5. Indian ocean countries The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's oceanic divisions, It is bounded on the north by the Indian subcontinent; on the west by East Africa; on the east by Indochina, the Sunda Islands, and Australia; and on the south by the Southern Ocean (or, depending on definition, by Antarctica). It is the only ocean to be named after a country, i.e., India As one component of the interconnected global ocean, the Indian Ocean is delineated from the Atlantic Ocean by the 20° east meridian running south from Cape Agulhas, and from the Pacific by the meridian of 146°55' east[5]. The northernmost extent of the Indian Ocean is approximately 30° north in the Persian Gulf. The Indian Ocean has asymmetric ocean circulation[citation needed].
  • 6. The sudden collapse of the ancient peruvian civilisation, or the First South American Civilisation etc might have been by calamities like Earthquake, epidemics etc. We cant also rule out their decimation thro aggressive occupation by invading/aggressive migrating communites etc. Refer boOk by the author Hugh Thomson “THE WHITE ROCK “.The aggressive Spaniards virtually elimiatd the Inca tribes of ancient Peru. Archaeologists excavating at the ancient Peruvian coastal civilization called Caral have recovered an artifact which may represent one of the earliest forms of communication in the world, roughly equivalent in age to the cuneiform of Mesopotamia.
  • 7. History of The Incas http://www.peru-travel-confidential.com/history-of-the- incas.html The history of the incas is way more complex of what the people believe, even today with the power of the internet, only very few people have a blur understating of what the inca empire was; In this page you will find all that you need to know about the incas. The inca civilization has barely 1000 years of history, since the point of birth as a simple tribe in the heart of the Andes, to the magnificent inca empire that we know today. Here you will find interesting aspects of the history of the incas, like the inca religion, that had approximate 6000 priest distributed all over the kingdom, where the Huillac Uma or supreme priest was the equivalent of the pope of our days. The model of the inca culture was clear and simple, it was a free of hunger society, with peace among the people and where the Hatunruna or standard citizen, knew that him and his family were protected of natural disasters. The inca people was part of a estrange mixture of socialism, imperialism and generalize brain wash, that is quite difficult to catalog, because they reach only the copper as the stronger metal, so they should be qualify as a copper age civilization. For snaps of Machu Pichu and other Peru’s ancient sites see next slide
  • 8. Many archaeologist and investigators have underestimated the complexity of the incas culture; The true is that they develop medicine remedies and treatments, art styles, magnificent pottery, technology in many fields, weapons development, complex metallurgy processes, war strategy, amazing architecture and much more. The inca art expression goes from music, textile, carving wood, carving stone, metallurgy art and even poetry; The inca people did not have writing, so the poetry was pass from father to son in shape of tales and verbal traditions. The inca pottery was simple and functional, the incas produce two kind of ceramics, the ceremony style and the massive production ceramics, they were in limited shapes and with a very simple geometrical decorations with stylized images of animals and day by day activities. The inca technology had a great understanding of mathematics, agriculture, advance development of crops, medicine, hydraulics, astronomy, architecture and military strategy.

What ever it is including the name may be archeology/PAST exploration etc, all I would like to say is that thanks to (Google search inclusive) and technology of today, in matter of an hour I could contruct these slides keeping my system in an online mode. Todays technology is evolving and in innovative ways the advancement of society is going to take place is my vision for the future. Knowledge society will expand and will play its very useful role in reaching/practicing/guiding ,the ultimate forms of Governance etc.Like the industrial revolution, information technolgy revolutions etc of the past we will witness revolutionary modls of Governance aided by TECHNOLY. So remain positive is the message and may we all remain blessed for a contribution to such excellence in Governance. ESWARA CHANDRAMOULI

  • 14. Exploring the World OF(ANCIENT)CHINA National Palace Museum, Taipei Kublai Khan as the First Yuan Emperor For some three decades until his death in 1294, the grandson of the famed Mongol warlord Chingiz, or Genghis, ruled over much of what is today China. Kublai Khan spent most of his reign expanding his domain and vanquishing pretenders to his throne — in the process, historians say, he laid the foundations of the modern Chinese state. The empire of his Yuan dynasty was said to be a continent unto itself, its cities teeming with gold and the chatter of people from countless lands. The myth of his power was irrepressible. Once, while at the sidelines of a battle the emperor was sure to win, the voyaging Italian merchant Marco Polo saw "the Kaan" on a hill, surveying his massed legions from a perch atop a wooden tower. The tower was mounted on the backs of "four well-trained elephants.“ From TIME http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,2027165_2202911,00.html#ixzz148bmD1SF
  • 15. Shanxi Museum Model of a Stage with Five Actors The Mongols are often characterized by the savagery of their warfare, but the Yuan era saw the refinement and crystallization of a number of Chinese artistic traditions that all linger to this day. This is especially true for theater — represented by this 13th century ceramic display. Over nine hundred plays were produced during the Yuan period, and its tales of fairy spirits and corrupt officials still circulate in current productions of Peking opera. • 17. Mahakala of the Tent The Yuan dynasty oversaw a revival of Buddhism in China, which had lapsed in preceding centuries. They practiced, by and large, a more esoteric, Tibetan strain of Buddhism, replete with terrifying spirits and protective deities. The Mahakala of the Tent was of particular importance to the Yuan and this small stone totem was likely carried to war as a helmet of a soldier. http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,293 07,2027165_2202927,00.html#ixzz148i8Enqz Architectural Relief Depicting the Hindu Legend of Gajaranya Kshetra Kublai's kingdom was not only about the Silk Road over land. Ports flourished, with diverse communities of merchants settling in a number of southern Chinese cities. This stone relief of an elephant came from Quanzhou, in today's Fujian province, and likely belonged to a Hindu temple set up by Tamil traders.

  • 19. The Indus Valley Civilization (IVC) was a Bronze Age civilization (3300–1300 BCE; mature period 2600–1900 BCE) which was centred mostly in the western part[1] of theIndian Subcontinent[2][3] and which flourished around the Indus River basin.[n 1] Primarily centered along the Indus and the Punjab region, the civilization extended into the Ghaggar-Hakra River valley[7] and the Ganges-Yamuna Doab,[8][9] encompassing most of what is now Pakistan, as well as extending into the westernmost states of modern -dayIndia, southeastern Afghanistan, and the easternmost part of Balochistan, Iran. The mature phase of this civilization is known as the Harappan Civilization, as the first of its cities to be unearthed was the one at Harappa, excavated in the 1920s in what was at the time the Punjab province of British India (now in Pakistan).[10] Excavation of IVC sites have been ongoing since 1920, with important breakthroughs occurring as recently as 1999.[11] Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is another well-known archeological site. The Harappan language is not directly attested and its affiliation is unknown, though Proto-Dravidian, Elamo-Dravidian, or (Para-)Munda relations have been posited by scholars such as Iravatham Mahadevan,Asko Parpola, F.B.J. Kuiper, and Michael Witzel. Essentially a city culture, Harappan life was supported by extensive agricultural production, commerce and trade. By around 2000 BC, though, the Harappan civilization had collapsed and what caused it is not decipherable. EXPLORING THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Valley_Civilization

  • 21. Remember: Senior Citizens Are Valuable We are more valuable than any of the younger generations. We have silver in our hair. We have gold in our teeth. We have stones in our kidneys. We have lead in our feet and. We are loaded with natural gas! We have a CEG 65 yahoo Group site for our college (1965) batchmates of Guindy Engineering College( it is an Educational institution, more than 100 years Old ) and is in Chennai,India. Most of them held positions(in management)and few people like us held (present day IT,computers.communications etc fields) that are technology related positions. At that time only in our college a new division called Electronics and telecommunications was introduced in our college.(About four decades back). We are now in our mid sixties and some of us have still not lost the sense of humour. They have the knack of changing the nature of topics thro humour! So it helps to mix fun in order that we enjoy creativity in a right spirit. When we discuss the Buddhism ways of wheel of life, one guy will post a mail calling it as Newage wheel of life. See below ! And also see the never ending curiousity exhibited by the peeping child at stage 1 and the (oldie!) child at the end/last stage ! So creativity is to be viewed with a right spirit and it should not to be feared !
  • 22. N o Name of Upanishad Core Message Equivalent Mgmt message for today 1 Isavasya Upanishad Reality as Brahman pervades over everything (as matter, and living being). Divinity appearing to be so small is also in you as well as spread over the entire universe as existance bliss, and is known as cosmic consciousness. When the mind is in a less advanced state of development, it is difficult to get this perception and hence this Upanishad dwells on the relationship between the self or Atman and the Divine. In Organisations, for success there is a need for the feeling of oneness belonging to the Organisation, at all levels of management and the work force ( inspite of the hierarchies).Like everyone has the potential to become a Chairman or President in an Organisation and should strive for it, but have also accepted their respective position, with the right frame of mind, and are happy on account of that. But aiming for the Goal and striving for excellence is always there. 2 Kena Upanishad To facilitate the right perception about the Brahman, the mind has to be conditioned from its lower influences of the body and mind (Known as Thamasic and Rajasic state) and Taken to a Higher consciousness thro the . (Note that this state is also not free from attachments due to the influence of the Worldly activities). When decisions are taken with the right frame of mind, known in Transaction Analysis as Adult state of mind , a manager is bound to succeed. Please also note that decisions taken in a party or dinner or in Golf courts are not necessarily the best as the mind is in a Thamasic state and is not capable of taking qualitative decisions,as that requires Rajasisc or Satwic state of mind. It is in the satwic state of mind that the emotions are under check (or in full control) and it is here, ones mind is focussed to achieve the objectives (or Goals ).It is also scientifically proven that the decisions are more qualitiative in the alpha state of mind (where one entertains least nor of transactions in the mind!). The Core Concepts of Vedic /Upanishadic Mgmnt Sciences of the ancient indian civilisation & its applicability even today’ to all mgmt concepts (Technlogy enabled) Management and in all walsk of life ! Katha Upanishad This Upanishad discusses about death and the state of mind at the time of death and what happens after death.and the cycle of birth and death. Entire details are framed as a discussion between a human disciple ( Naciketa ) and Yama the Lord of death. Naciketa did not approve of his fathers ritualistic practices (of giving away old cattles as gift etc), and as a result of his questioning his father, he incurrs the wrath of his father, who feeling angry and unable to give proper explanation, asks his son, to meet Yama for an explanation regarding death.
