3. One night in the dark woods there sat a lonely racoon called Elvis who loved to sit and
stare at the beautiful, bright moon.
4. Just as he was about to doze off a neighbour from the next tree appeared and began to
tell him a story involving three angry bears and the gold honey bottle they had left
behind.
5. Elvis had a ‘light bulb’
idea’ that if he was able to
get hold of the gold
honey bottle, he would
be rich!
6. He went looking in the
golden frypan…. he
looked high, he looked
low, realising he might
have to search across the
entire desert
7. Finally, he remembered
as a young racoon, his
Dad showing him a
golden honey pot, on a
wooden bench, in his
very own kitchen. He
raced off to get it.
8. He suddenly realised that
he had thrown the gold
honey bottle out with the
rubbish!
9. With his stomach in knots, he ran like a
bull at a gate towards the rubbish stack and
sifted through the garbage with his hands
going round and round so fast that it
looked as if he had horns!
10. When he realised it was lost forever, he
began running around in circles for hours
like a headless chook with tears streaming
out of his eyes and nose.
