Type of management:
Albania: This country is one of the poorest countries in the Europe. In the government, a
lot of people are grafter. Most of citizens don’t have too much money. But since the 2007, this
country’s economic began to have a healthy growth. In this country, we need use the
Autocratic Management Style for two reasons. One is that using the Autocratic Management
can against the local employment steal company’s resource and money. Another reason is that
the Autocratic Management can provide a steady company structure for the business.
Macedonia: this country is the one of the poorest countries in the Europe. The unemployment is
31.7%. This country is poor and don’t have a good growth at the economic. This country is similar to Albania.
At this country, the business needs to use the Autocratic Management because this type of management
can against the steal from the local employment and provide a steady company.
Social responsibility:
Both country need to pay attention about the Social responsibility because both of two
country are almost 100 percent citizen have the Religions.

2. Albania: Muslim (Sunni and Bektashi) 70%, Albanian Orthodox 20%, and Roman Catholic
10%.
Macedonia:Religions (2002): Eastern Orthodox 64.78%, Muslim 33.33%, Catholic 0.35%,
and others 1.54%.
Social responsibility is very important for the country chosen because that our business
is the food product and service. So we need to know the country’s culture and Religions. The
country’s food was depended on this country’s culture and Religions. When we choose the
country, we need to look at the different between this country and USA. We need choose
country, which citizens like to try the new thing.
What would be the “red tape” a company would need to take care of when doing business in
the countries? (i.e. Joint Venture, etc)( don’t understand this question very well.)
Red tape:The collection or sequence of forms and procedures required to gain
bureaucratic approval for something, especially when oppressively complex and time-
consuming.
