Tata motors is a part of Tata group.
Tata Motors was founded by RATAN TATA.
It tied-up with Daimler-Benz and entered Commercial vehicle
segment in 1954.
 In 1992, it entered Small vehicle segment.
The headquarter of Tata group is in Mumbai.
History
Reasonable price with low fuel consumption.
Huge employee base.
India’s largest automobile company.
Deals with British brands like land rover & Jaguar.
Managerial Expertise.
Strong Financial Condition.

Tata motors has two major market segments on the basis
of income:-
Low Income Group : One target is the low income
families & individuals looking to purchase a first car such
as TATA NANO & the INDICA.
High Income Group : Tata’s Second target segment is
the wealthy individuals & families looking to purchase
luxurious cars, Such as land rover & Jaguar.
