Objectives / Goals / Competences:
Students are expected to:
- Realise that the word sense or senses refers simultaneously to
conceptions of physics, physiology, psychological characteristics of an
individual, their education and culture;
- Explore, feel and have sensations through exercises that explore the
five senses: vision, touch, smell, hearing and taste;
- Extend their vocabulary and general knowledge on the topic;
- Give an oral presentation.

Procedure
Tasks:
Starting point
- Introduction to the topic – exploring the senses
- PowerPoint visualization about the various interpretations that the
term sense or senses can have.
1st
- Warm up activity:
The teacher reads to the students eight words: serenity, anger, intensity,
joy, sadness, anguish,…
For each of them the student should explore through different types of lines
the feeling that the word conveys to him.
2nd
– Performing 6 plastic exercises, exploring the perception of space,
taste, sight, touch, smell and hearing. The sequence of exercises can be
seen in the introductory PowerPoint.
3rd
– Group activity - Bring together the experiences of each student in a
collective experience.
Integration and sharing of previous exercises in a panel. Collective work on
this panel with the inclusion of records of the silhouettes of the hands of
the different participants. At the end each participant tore a piece of the
panel that integrated in his graphic diary, assuming the role of memory of
this sequence of experiences / exercises.
Resources / Materials
Supports and materials:
Paper sheets squares, scenery paper sheet, pencils, color pencil, oil pastels,
felt tip pens, glue.

Procedure Tasks: Starting point - Introduction to the topic – exploring the senses - PowerPoint visualization about the various interpretations that the term sense or senses can have. 1st - Warm up activity: The teacher reads to the students eight words: serenity, anger, intensity, joy, sadness, anguish,… For each of them the student should explore through different types of lines the feeling that the word conveys to him. 2nd – Performing 6 plastic exercises, exploring the perception of space, taste, sight, touch, smell and hearing. The sequence of exercises can be seen in the introductory PowerPoint. 3rd – Group activity - Bring together the experiences of each student in a collective experience. Integration and sharing of previous exercises in a panel. Collective work on this panel with the inclusion of records of the silhouettes of the hands of the different participants. At the end each participant tore a piece of the panel that integrated in his graphic diary, assuming the role of memory of this sequence of experiences / exercises.
