personal. Most of the time, it is
something that happened to
one. Also, the aim of this kind of
essay is to transmit knowledge
to the reader or audience.

information of an essay and it
will guide the reader for
understanding the story. Also,
here is presented author’s thesis
and main characters of the story.
2. Complication: it is the part
in which is developed the
story by creating conflict.
Through this, it appears a
protagonist and a series of
events to build the story.
3. Resolution: this is the
story’s ending. For this,
the author concludes with
a personal anecdote.

4. If you have ever climbed a mountain, you know how exciting it
is to realize you are about to get on top of one of the world’s
roofs! Especially for the first time when you do not yet know
what to expect or how it is going to be like.
I can remember my first ascension to a mountain top well. It
happened about three years ago, when it was autumn, and
the weather in the mountains was gloomy. My friends offered
me to travel to the western Carpathian Mountains, and after a
short period of hesitation, I accepted their invitation. There was
nothing much to do for me at the time, so I thought a change
of surrounding would only be of use to me.

5. Introduction
The hook: statement to catch reader’s attention.
Set the scene: information to understand the
story such as characters and a place, etc.
Thesis statement: it could be the beginning of
the story.
Body
paragraph
Show, don’t tell: Many details through the five
senses.
Supporting evidence: to show your experience.
Passage of time: to tell the story chronologically.
Transitions: to use linking word to connect
paragraphs and sentences.
Conclusion
The moral of the story: it is the lesson that you
learned of the story.
