How to design materials for English classes:
1. Establish an objective. Start by deciding what you want the students to know
at the end of the lesson; this is referred to as the cognitive objective. 2.
Analyze the audience. Take the characteristics of the group into account when
creating materials. 3. Consider differing learning styles. Students learn more
effectively when they are engaged in their learning style. 4. Select a delivery
method. Determine how you want to present the material. 5. Seek ways to
integrate technology. Using technology increases student engagement. When
creating your materials, consider ways in which you could use available
technology.

Conclusions:
Always take into account the students’ characteristics to design your own
materials. Have in mind the duration of the activity to apply the material to
the classroom. Keep in mind the pre, during and post moments of the lessons. Try
to use authentic materials in the classroom. Take into account the students’
motivation and preferences to plan the materials for the classes.
