2. Our Class Vision!
As a class, it is important that we all have an
understanding of the goals for what we want
to have accomplished by the end of the year
and how we are to accomplish these goals to
get there. By understand these goals we can
work as a team to accomplish them. We want
to know exactly what to expect for the end of
the year or we may end up moving towards
other types of goals that we didn’t plan for.
3. Goals to be Accomplished!
2nd grade: Students will be able to:
• Stay on task using self-monitoring
• Understand multiple perspectives by working
well in groups
• Seek out correct directions in order to
successfully complete a task
• Understand grade-level stories and poems while
accurately answering “W” questions about them
• Master the basics of addition and subtraction
4. How to Succeed and Accomplish Goals
• Be responsible
• Be respectful to yourself and others
• Be a self-started, always trying your best
• Be positive and always give it a try
• Be open to new ideas
5. Classroom Rules
• Raise your hand to speak unless directed
otherwise
• Respect others by keeping your hands and
feet to yourself and being an active listener
• Follow directions
• Keep the room neat and tidy
• Be ready when class starts
