4. Shared Reading Writing The teacher does most of the reading and children join in to read predictable words. The children come up with the ideas and the teacher writes them down.
5. Interactive Reading Writing The teacher and children read together and take turns. The teacher and children create the text and write together.
6. Guided Reading Writing The teacher chooses the book for students to read and teaches lessons in small groups. The teacher teaches a writing lesson and supervises the children practicing their writing.
7. Independent Reading Writing Students choose their own books and read them on their own. Children will use their own ideas to create composition.
