2. Title : Process writing about producing an attractive sketch.
What makes a sketch attractive? Have you ever wondered why a sketch can
just bring something live? Well, it all starts when a line is drawn on a sketching or
tracing paper and continues to extend. Sketching is holistically the core designing
anything. Such as buildings, urban parks, playgrounds, potraits and many more that
we see every day by our naked eyes. For instance, building are not just a human -
made structure used as shelter, but before it became realistic, it was just a rough
sketch before the post product is done. It all begins with how creative an artist,
architect or even a caricature would want to sketch using pencils and paper. Here
are some steps on how to produce an attractive sketch.
First and foremost, before beginning, be sure to prepare all necessary drawing
and sketching materials. Such as, needed stationeries and efficient amount of
papers. Choosing an object to be the prime subject for your sketching is vital as the
end sketch will be what you have imagined to be based on how your creativity.
Therefore, using a suitable pencil to begin sketching is also important as pencils
have their own grades that they are from the hardest to the softest. To begin, it is
suitable to use 6H or 8H lead pencils. Do not use a softer lead pencil for sketching
unless you are confident on your artwork. Using a softer lead pencil ; 6B or 7B, you
can start darkening your sketch if you have confirm on how you want your end
sketching product to be.
Well, sketching something is an expression that has been in your mind that
you want to express it out in the form of art, that you also want to make it realistic
than just letting it go. Once you are done with your sketching, it is time for shading.
Shading the most utmost and vital part during sketching. A plain sketch without
3. shading might be attractive in the way that it is plain, clean, and understandable
merely only at the surface of it. Shading can be defined as the representation of the
different values of colour, light, or dark in a painting or drawing. So, when shading,
be sure to propagate which part of your sketch that you want to shade the darkest,
lightest and moderate. Then, using the hardest lead pencils, start shading beginning
at the parts of your sketch that you want it to be lightly shaded as it will be easy to
allocate which part of your sketch you want it to be shaded dark or moderate.
Shading is not only just by using a black lead pencil, but also, shading can be done
with various types of colour pencils. The reason why some architects or even artist
use different colours to do their shading in their artwork, is to enhance the necessary
components in a sketch in order to make it more attractive.
The last step will be amending your sketch to make it look atrractive an
alluring is by using a softer lead pencil to draw the outline of the sketch. Outlining
your sketch is a deluxe altering that will make your sketch to look more outstanding
so that it will make whatever components in a sketch to look like it is popped-up.
Outlining also can be a bit of a hassle as sometimes it may not be suitable for some
sketching depending on the object that you have planned to sketch. And so, to
produce an attractive sketch is by following these few steps and you may make more
attractive sketches by using hairspray to add a beautiful shine on your paper so that
it also looks more like a canvas sketching.
In a nutshell, sketching is fun when you do not limit yourself to a certain extend
as sketching is just a rough drawing. The art of sketching is very beautiful as it can
contain anything anywhere or everywhere. Practice makes perfect, so the more you
put effort on doing a lot sketching, the more your shading and creativity skills will go
further.
