This document presents a novel vehicle security and monitoring system using wireless technology. The system architecture includes a GPS receiver to track the vehicle's location, a GSM modem to send SMS alerts, an IR sensor to detect driver drowsiness, and RF tags to identify traffic signal violations. The system has two main units - a security unit embedded in the vehicle that sends location and sensor data to a control unit via GSM. If theft is detected, the user can track the vehicle's location and stop it remotely via SMS commands. An IR sensor monitors the driver for drowsiness and will slow down or stop the vehicle if needed. RF tags help identify traffic light violations and alert the user via buzzer and SMS. The system

3. Introduction
A vehicle tracking and monitoring system is total security protection and fleet
management solution, By using GSM and GPS technology.
Vehicle theft identification
A prevention of accident due to drowsiness of the driver.
State and local agencies are finding solutions to improve the mobility, efficiency and safety
in order to improve the safety driving in public.
Current Transport facility is suffering with many issues.

4. Functional:
Through the GSM SMS will be sent to the Authorized User.
Through the GPS the current location of the vehicle is trapped.
IR Sensor is used for drowsiness detection.
RF tags are used to identify the traffic signal violation etc.
Nonfunctional:
Security: the application is accessed only by the permitted users.
Usability: Validation is provided for each forms to reduce the error.
Maintainability: the application is user friendly and can be maintained
without any person support.

6. • The Global Positioning System (GPS) is commonly used as a space based global navigation
satellite system.
• The location information provided by GPS systems can be visualized using Google Earth.
• GSM and SMS technology is a common feature with all network service providers.
• Utilization of SMS technology has become popular because it is an inexpensive.
• When vehicle is normal operation by the owner, he gets a SMS if in case of Theft Authorized
user can cease the operation of the vehicle.
• In case of drowsiness of the driver, vehicle can be monitored through IR sensor, which gives a
warring alert and stop the operation.
• Through RF Tag violation of Traffic Signal can be avoided.
10. • The system has two main units. The first is security unit which is embedded in the vehicle. This
unit consists of a GSM modem, GPS receiver, control relay, current sensor and Microcontroller.
• The microcontroller will send SMS directly to the owner for conformation
• The GPS Receiver retrieves the location information from satellites in the form of latitude and
longitude readings in real-time.
• Identifying the path and deciding to stop the vehicle based on location by using android phone or
desktop.
• User can send AT Commands to slow down the vehicle, gradually engine will be ceased and stops
the vehicle.
• If in case removal of any components of the vehicle, buzzer will be buzzed and alter the
surrounding people regarding theft.
13. • In real time IR sensor will be installed to the front mirror of the driver seat.
• Based on the eye lid blinking IR sensor will check the whether the driver is
awaken or not, if he is awake he will drive the vehicle carefully.
• Driver starts drowsing will driving IR sensor will detect the eye lid close and
starts giving alert through Buzzer.
• Post alter if user is not able to drive the vehicle safely, it automatically slow
down the speed and Gradually vehicle will be stopped.
16. • Traffic rules violation is major concern now a days, RF Tag can give alertness to
user .
• Based on the color of the signal vehicle will be moved based on green color.
• If vehicle crossed in the red signal buzzer will give alertness to user.
• Simultaneously it notify the user through SMS.
