14. Conclusions:
• The majority of students are informed about the types of drugs and as the
most popular they indicate marijuana, cocaine, heroin and ecstasy. Another
group of students indicate as dangerous drugs only – grass,
methamphetamine, hallucinogenic psychotropic substances.
• Thanks to discussions with experts from NGOs, all respondents are well-
informed and able to assess the degree of risk in drug usage.
• 15 of the respondents admitted that among their friends there are
students who have tried drugs. Significantly larger is the number of those
who believe that among their friends no one has tried drugs. 52 of
interviewed students indicated that they have never tried the drug.
• As the predominant reason to try drugs at least once, students mentioned
the influence of family, friends, classmates, criminal environment.
15. • It is not difficult to supply with popular drugs. Disturbing is the fact
that students can easily supply with drugs in the areas around
schools.
• In the questionnaire students indicated that if there is a problem,
they can ask for help their families, police, friends, and a smaller
group would ask for help from the school or specialized organizations.
• We can conclude that the majority of students are aware of the risk
associated with drug usage and addiction.
• There is a very small number of students who have tried drugs at
least once. In general the student’s attitude towards drug usage is
negative.
• Some of the ways to tackle with the problem proposed by the
students are proof that they can be partners in the prevention of
substance abuse.
