location
For my location it will be located in the Tv studio where there will be a green screen
at BOA Academy, 1 Grosvenor Street, Birmingham, B4 7QD. To get to this venue it
will take 0 minutes as the studio is already located in the school.
3. why is it a suitable
location
The location I will be using is the TV studio located at Birmingham Ormiston Academy. This is very
practical for carrying all my equipment as a lot my equipment is based where my location is. In the
tv studio I will be using the green screen as it gives me the choice of setting the background to
whatever i want E.G it could be indoors or outdoors. For my picture i will be using the green screen
for uploading a out door and indoor background, this makes my location very suitable as i will not
have to carry all my equipment to this locations and it is conveniently places in the building already.
4. The availability of the
location
The availability of the location is already set as it is in the boa building. However to book the room i will have to contact Mr Daniel
walker to reserve my spot for the availability of the room. Also (as i need to be accompanied by a member of staff) we will need to
make sure our timetables fit with each others this means that the most suitable time will most likely be lesson time. Also we will need to
take into consideration the models availability however i have found out that he will be free during our edit lessons as his timetables
does not contain a lesson then.
5. Power sources
As I will be located in the tv Studio where there is a green screen, the tv studio will have a sufficient
amount of power sources to supply all my equipment. This means i will be able to charge my equipment
whilst using it if need be, however i will not over do it by plugging it all at once as i do not want to risk my
health and safety and the people in the room with me at that time.
6. Lighting issues at the
location
In the tv studio there will be a few lighting issues as there are no windows ,this means there will be no natural
lighting coming through into the room. Because of this i will be controlling all the lighting within the room such as
the ceiling lights or the set lights (lights that you can move around yourself )which are called red heads and
bounce boards which reflects the light. This might end up giving my image more of an artificial look.
