Sixth-Form Advert
Medium: Commercial Radio advert
Running Time: The advert will be around 30 seconds long, as I want to get
all the information in but I don’t want to drag it out.
Synopsis: Male voice talking about how good the sixth form is and saying
why the student should opt to go there. We will also include facts and
figures about our sixth form.
Character list: 1 man talking about why you should go to the school.
Target Audience: Our target audience is students in year 10/11, and their
parents, both genders. They will be a B on the NRS scale because Ringwood
is a predominantly a middle-class area. They will be an aspirers on the 4Cs
scale. Our target audience will want to come to Ringwood sixth form because
they all want to go to a good sixth form.
Recording Location: We are going to record on the school sight in a quiet
meeting room.
Budget: We are going to do our radio advert on a budget and borrow
equipment so we don't have to spend any money.

the secondary school to send their child to.
Character List: 1 woman and her child talking about why Ringwood School is
the best choice.
Target Audience: We want to use a female voice because our target audience
is mothers as they're most likely to be the ones finding the right school
for their child. Same as for the sixth form advert they will be a B on the
NRS scale because Ringwood is a predominantly a middle-class area and they
will be an aspirers on the 4Cs scale. This advert will appeal to our target
audience because it will include facts and figures that will make the
parents want to send their child to Ringwood.
