Crystal Ball – Mobile ‘Apps’ Matter Less • Mobile Apps (as in App Stores NOT candidate applications) are becoming LESS important • Mobile Apps are just too hard to promote (competitive) and get distribution (’discovery issue’) • Job advertising isn’t video games – we don’t use native features of the mobile devices • In-App notifications as an App benefit can be replaced with SMS and messaging applications
  • 29. Crystal Ball – SMS Matters More • If you aren’t asking permission to SMS (text message) your candidates – go fix that today! • Candidate ‘initial touch’ response rates on SMS are 3X over email outreach • Candidate ‘response time’ on SMS is 10 minutes vs. 10 hours on email
