Gatheringfeedbackfromothers,one of the mainconcernsaboutmyfilmwashow I put the storyline
across to my audience. One suggestionwasaddinginavoiceovertohelpexplainthe characters
thoughts.However,bydoingthisIthoughtthatit doesnotobeythe lawsof a modernaction/thriller
film,aspart of the mysterypurposedbyafilmbeginningistomake the audience askquestionsuch
as whoare they?Why didtheydothat? To make the audience watchon.
Anotheruseful partof feedbackwastoalter the wake up to make it snappier,toclearlyindicateto
the audience thatthe character had a nightmare insteadof wakingupfromwhatsuggestedtobe a
natural,usual sleep.
From thisI shrunkthe footage of the wake up shotto make it muchfaster,to make the division
betweenthatandthe previousshotmuchfaster,whichmakesitclearertothe audience thatthe
character was havinga nightmare.
However,the mostsuggested Ialsochangedthe title designtobettersuitthe genre of the film, to
clearly indicate tothe audience thatitismuch more tiedintothe actiongenre,whichhelpsthemto
betterengage withthe film.
