2. Adam:
He will wear a blue hoodie in this scene with blue jeans, to portray the classic teenage
tradition. It also symbolises that he is a calm character, and is not liable to die in the
film. Furthermore, choosing blue jeans over black ones suggests that he does not have
a glimpse of negativity in him.
3. Gang members:
They will wear a black hoodie and black mask, to further emphasise their
negative characteristics. The mask is also used to hide their identities, as it
provides a sense of mystery to the audience in regards to why or who is
attacking the protagonist. I also chose hoodies because it mirrors the
typical British setting and personalities of the villains in this sequence.
4. Pen knife:
This will be the traditional weapon of choice for
the gang members. It is small and lightweight
so it will not attract any attention from others
while filming the sequence, but still provides
the same menacing symbol of an original
villain/ bad guy in an action movie, as it
suggests that the gang members like to be
discreet when getting their business done.
5. Deodorant can:
This will be used to portray a smoke canister in the
actual film. I would generate the smoke using after
effects and I would put artificial labelling on it to
further emphasise its purpose. This will be used to
provide an escape route for the gang member, who
is running away from the protagonist. I believe that
using this further illustrates that the gang members
like to complete their tasks as silent as possible and
use strategic evasive manoeuvres to get an edge
over the protagonist.
