My science fiction paper will largely focus on a software engineer at NASA working on the artificial intelligence for their rovers. It will take place in
the near future some time within the next fifty years. With the speed of innovation in the tech industry (the first lunar rover wasn't even sent fifty years
ago) I'm sure the capabilities of these space exploration vehicles will be astounding. My story will probably focus mostly on the life of the engineer,
along with his efforts improving the actions of the rovers. I'll be assuming it will be a lot cheaper to get a rover into space by 2060 and we'll be
able to send a lot more rovers out. The character will be part of the team that tries to keep the rovers largely automated so we can collect a lot of
information without really trying or costing much.
