3. Lens
A camera lens is an optical lens or assembly of lenses used in conjunction with a camera body and mechanism to make
images of objects either on photographic film or on other media capable of storing an image chemically or electronically.
There are many different camera lenses, my favourite type of lens is fish eye. This is because a lot of bmxers use it to get
up close to the rider and still be able to see what the rider is doing.
4. Image sensor
An image sensor or imaging sensor is a sensor that detects and conveys the information that constitutes an image
The image sensor sits in the camera.
5. Memory
A memory card is where photos and videos photographers take are saved onto. Once full the photographer will have to buy
a new one. There is alo sd cards.
6. Lighting
Flash
photography involving the use of a camera attachment that produces a brief very bright light, used in poor light.
Exposure
In photography, exposure is the amount of light per unit area.
colour (temperature: warm, cold)
colour includes things like changing the temperature of the image, the image can be hot or cold, this changes how looks
in its final outcome.
white balance
is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo.
Proper camera white balance has to take into account the "color temperature" of a light source, which refers to the relative
warmth or coolness of white light.
lights (tungsten, fluorescent, natural, artificial)
photograph’s simply records patterns of light, colour, and shade; lighting is all-important in controlling the image. In many cases
even illumination is desired to give an accurate rendition of the scene.
7. JPEG file
JPEG Stands for "Joint Photographic Experts Group." JPEG is a popular image file format. When images are saved onto a computer,
they are turned into a JPEG file. This is because the user will be able to edit the image.
8. Aperture and FStops
aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the
amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor. The size of the aperture is measured in F-stop.
FStops is a camera setting corresponding to a particular f-number.
9. Support
hand-held shooting is a filmmaking and video production technique in which a camera is held in the camera operator's hands as
opposed to being mounted on a tripod or other base.
tripod - tripods can be used to take a photo and the photographer don't have to hold the camera. a three-legged stand for supporting a
camera or other apparatus
