Comments - Professor Hill was super fun and understanding in class. She was considerate of her students'
crazy lives, and although she pushed us, she also didn't overwork us. I'm bummed that I won't
be able to take another one of her classes next semester.
I love the way you teach because you understand not everyone was born to be a writer. That it
takes time to improve an essay.
Caitlin Hill exceeded expectations, she taught the curriculum in a fun and fresh way. Every class
is educational and a lot of fun! She makes you actually want to come to class. I applaud you in
hiring her, as she has made a huge impact on my college experience. Not only going above and
beyond as an instructor but also providing a place you feel safe and thoroughly enjoy. My only
suggestion is to broaden her class range so I can hopefully learn under her again! She deserves
acknowledgment.
She is a phenomenal teacher and I appreciate her so much and everything she has done for me
I really enjoyed this class and Caitlin's teaching methods and styles. She was very relatable and
I learned a lot.
I appreciate that Caitlin Hill connects with the students and is not super serious all the time. I
do not say that in a bad way in any shape or form. In my opinion when a professor is serious all
the time I lose interest at times, but when they make jokes and relate to the students I keep
interest and even learn better with most subjects.
Being in your class actually made me enjoy the subject! You’re a great teacher.
I really enjoyed your class. I have learned things that I wasn’t prepared for from high school.
Great teacher who cares a lot about her students. Great at explaining all details on writing
assignments. Really enjoy this class and gaining a lot from it
I really enjoyed this class and thought you were a great and understanding teacher. I would
de nitely take your comp 2 class next semester if it wasn't not at 8 am lol.
I really liked the way the course went. I do wish we could get more time on essays, but then I
also understand we won't experience many of the di erent kinds so its hard to say which is
better.
Thanks! It's an enjoyable class.

I think Professor Hill was great! She always would thouroughly describe each writting
assignment, and I loved that she allowed us to pick our topics rather than assigning them.
I enjoy English as a course, but I am not a fan of what comes along with the course. Your course
has taken a di erent approach than others and I enjoy having a diverse Comp class.
Professor Hill is an excellent instructor. She is very down to earth and very helpful in helping
students gain understanding of the subject matter. She is very approachable, and welcomes
every kind of question. Overall 9/10
Dont change
This class has been excellent so far. As a veteran trying to get an education again, I have
learned much more than I thought I would at this point. I have my professor to thank for that.
Having Instructor Hill as a teacher really helped me this rst semester of college, and I am glad I
took the course with her.
I've learned a lot in Caitlin's composition class. The class mode is great, we can read the book
by ourselves and discuss during class, which is very e ective. I can always hear some
penetrating from teacher and classmates. I love this class and the teacher.
Great professor, just super duper great, I appreciate the fun atmosphere you strive for in your
lectures.
I would like to have learned more about speci c writing, not just doing small exercises over
simple concepts.
Great teacher, made the class fun and gave me the time I need to do essays and thought she
taught well
Overall I loved this class! The emphasis on discussion based class times I think really bene ted
myself and others! Hearing other people's opinions was very interesting and helped me to
think of other opinions. I do wish that Caitlin would have pushed more people to speak as
many people never spoke up during discussion. I think that would have bene ted the class. The
homework load wasn't bad although I do value structure in assignments and many
assignments were open ended. I understand that comes with literature but personally I think
more structure could be useful. Overall loved the class!
I’m just not good at Comp and guring out the objects and meanings of things; nothing against
Instructor Hill
I think that you are a great teacher and truly know what you are talking about. I just wish you
forced people to be o their phones and pay attention to you like you state in your syllabus. :)
You are a good teacher
I loved this class!
