We realize that there are artists who show their feelings through art.
JAMES WHISTLER was born in the U.S. in 1834. He
went to Paris to study art, He developed a style
focused on colour. Later, he moved to London,
where he died in 1903.
Whistler showed a misty world in his paintings. He
represented foggy landscapes with very few lights.
TURNER was born in England in 1775. He
exhibited his works in his father’s barber. He
hated publicity and fame so he used a false
name “ Admiral booth” He died in 1851.
Turner loved watching weather. He once tied
himself to a ship’s mast so he could sketch a
storm.
