Bio 2 respiration activity
1. Bio 2 Respiration Activity
Grp 1-1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 – Photosynthesis vs Cell respiration
Grp 2-2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29- Dark vs Light Reaction (Products)
Grp 3-3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30- Anaerobic vs Aerobic (Products)
Photosynthesis vs Cell respiration
This should involve the general principles on how these reactions take place in an organism. Include the Endosymbiont theory to show how the formation of a double-membraned organelle allowed both reactions to become possible. Lastly, give the importance of both processes.
Dark vs Light Reaction (Products)
The presentation should show all the parts of a plant involve in Photosynthesis. These parts should be divided based on their role on either the dark or light reactions. The most important products should be highlighted. Lastly, the importance of the light and dark and light reactions should be generalized at the end of the presentation.
Anaerobic vs Aerobic (Products)
The presentation should show all the parts of a cell involve in cellular respiration. These parts should be divided based on their role on either aerobic or anaerobic processes, the terms glycolysis, intermediate phase and Krebs cycle should be highlighted. The most important products should be highlighted. Lastly, the importance of the aerobic and anaerobic processes should be generalized at the end of the presentation.
All presentations should not exceed 8 minutes and should be uploaded to youtube on or before September 11, 2011. Early submissions will have a bonus credit.
For inspiration watch this presentation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aZrkdzrd04
