1. This is my finish edit of my radio advert which i choose to do about a family run businesses called
Common Fold Kennels. While editing my advert I encountered a few problems one of them being
that my advert was a lot longer than 30 seconds which wasn’t expectable so therefore I had to cut
some of my script down. In my script I wanted to sell Common Fold kennels to the audience so I had
to use persuasive language such as ‘you receive 20% off’ which grabs people’s attention because
they can save money which everybody wants to these days. I also used humour in my radio advert
be including a play on words which was Olivia saying ‘that’s purrfect’ which is obvious purring and
perfect put together.
To put my radio advert together I used the software Reaper
After listening to the advert over and over again and re analysing my voiceovers I felt that some
backing music would add a better feeling to the advert. I used an un beat melody which reflects the
mood I wanted my advert to give off.
2. Here is the library I imported my
music from which is on the
college system. All the songs are
download legally and therefore
wont cause any copyright issues
on my advert. I had a great choice
of music to choose from; however
I feel like the track ‘happy
background music’ fitted my
advert the best and gave off the
best vibe. Also in this library I
choose a dog barking a cat
meowing to make it obvious that
its animals talking in the advert.
This tells the audience what kind
of radio advert this will be.
Overall I really pleased with the outcome of my radio advert and think that it includes enough
information to attract the customers. To improve my advert I would have the voice overs talk abit
faster in order to include more information.
