1. Audience Feedback
Towards the end of the project, I gained
feedback about what my target audience
really thought about my magazine. I
asked friends, fellow students and
typically people who fit in with my
audience profile to complete a survey,
assessing my magazine.
2. What aspect of my magazine could
I improve?
For this question, most of my responders answered ‘Layout’ (43.75% ) as
shown clearly below. Taking this into consideration, I then worked out
the layout of my magazine after gaining these survey results – in some
cases adding extra box out texts as well as changing the size of my text
and images.
3. What part of my magazine do you
like the most?
For this question, there were more mixed views present however ‘The
Images’ remained the top answer with 37.5% therefore I didn’t think
it was necessary to change/alter many images as most of my audience
thought this was the best part of my magazine.

As this question welcomed open responses, I gained lots f different
feedback. Below are some of the ideas and comments.

page. Even though ‘Layout’ was the aspect I needed to improve from the
first question, many liked the layout of my contents page.

This question also welcomed open responses so I gained lots of different
feedback. Below are some of the ideas and comments about my article
(my double page spreads).

successfully represents the indie
music genre?
In this question I gained 100% positive responses with all my audience
answering ‘Yes’. This proves that my target audience definitely think my
magazine looks indie based.
8. Are there any other typical
conventions of a music magazine I
should include?
During this question, I gained a few suggestions of other convention I
could include however most answered ‘No’.
9. Do you think my magazine successfully
attracts my target audience (older
teenagers and adults in their young to
mid twenties)?
These are the responses regarding my magazine appealing to my specific
audience.
10. What overall score would you give
my magazine?
Again, I gained positive responses for my overall score – all of my
responders gave either a 4 or 5/5 for my magazine.
