The Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman was built on the orders of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. It reflects contemporary Omani architecture and can accommodate up to 1,100 people. The complex includes a concert theater, auditorium, gardens, and a cultural market. A field trip to the Royal Opera House by students taught them skills like teamwork, listening, research, identification, and presentation techniques through collaborative learning and applying what they learned. However, studies show that culturally enriching field trips are declining for reasons such as financial pressures and lack of emphasis on collaborative learning.
