2. Agata is a famous fashion designer. With very
daring and colourful designs, she is one of the
most acknowledged fashion designers both
nationally and internationally."

3. She was born in Madrid in 1960, her father is the architect
Manuel Ruiz de la Prada and her mother a Catalan
aristocrat. She studied at the Barcelona School of Arts
and Fashion Techniques. Her designs first captured
attention at the start of the 1980s, in the midst of the
"movida madrileña" countercultural movement, in the
Local Design Centre and in various well-known art
galleries of the moment. In the 1990s, her collections
were presented at fashion shows in Osaka, Paris and
Miami. Since then her national and international fame
has grown constantly.
