Creating Cluster Controller OpenDaylight using mininet

1. Mininet with multiple
controllers

2. Running The ODL and Mininet on the different VM.
• 10.0.2.10 Mininet
• 10.0.2.20 ODL-1
• 10.0.2.30 ODL-2
• 10.0.2.40 ODL-3

3. Configure Cluster Parameters on Controller
Directory
• bin/configure_cluster.sh 1 10.0.2.20 10.0.2.30 10.0.2.30
• bin/configure_cluster.sh 2 10.0.2.20 10.0.2.30 10.0.2.30
• bin/configure_cluster.sh 3 10.0.2.20 10.0.2.30 10.0.2.30
• Will change cluster paramaters on configuration/initial/akka.conf &
configuration/initial/module-shard.conf
• Restart host to apply configuration

5. Run Controller Opendaylight
• feature:install odl-restconf-all odl-mdsal-clustering odl-
openflowplugin-flow-services http odl-l2switch-switch odl-dlux-all
odl-jolokia

6. Open Mininet
• sudo mn --controller 'remote,ip=10.0.2.20:6653' --switch
ovsk,protocols=OpenFlow13
• sudo ovs-vsctl set-controller s1 tcp:10.0.2.20:6653 tcp:10.0.2.30:6653
tcp:10.0.2.40:6653
• ovs-vsctl show

8. Verify Set Up
