Useful Guidelines  Ensure foci are anchored in LCA Programme  Limit choice of foci in year statement (2)  Avoid using of non vocational foci in Year 2  Ensure PAT/Contemporary Issues task are linked to a vocational aspect in Year 2  Use I instead of we when describing group activities  Include personal engagement  Avoid narrative
  • 14. Useful Guidelines  Begin with a review of how past experiences have influenced choice of foci  Ensure descriptions link to starting point  Give detailed descriptions of chosen foci  Suggest how thinking has changed as a result of each experience described
  • 15. Useful Guidelines  Draw conclusions from each experience described  Draw conclusions about self linked to each experience described  Support all conclusions with evidence from each experience described  Provide a plan for the future linked to learning experience
  • 16. Useful Guidelines  Ensure Year 2 contains a career orientated plan linked to experiences described  Clear, neat, legible presentation  Clear expression of ideas – logical/ordered  Avoid repetition  Avoid answering to a series of questions
