Revolutionary Biographies of Fidel Castro, Che Guevara, Raul Castro & Juan Almeida
1. Revolutionary Biographies
Fidel Castro – Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz was
born on the 13th August 1926 in Las Manacas,
Fidel had six sibling (two brothers and four
sisters). Early life for Fidel was hard; he worked
on his father’s plantation. In 1949 Fidel’s child
is born Felix Fidel ‘Fidelito’ Castro Ruz and a
year later he graduates from law school and
opens his own practice; makes his first trip to
New York. In Fidels later career he was a
controversial leader and also a leader of the
Cuban Revolution.
Ernesto "Che" Guevara - Ernesto "Che" Guevara was
born in Argentine in a town called Rosario in 1928. He
studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires and
then worked as a doctor. He witnessed the socialist
government of President Jacobo Arbenz overthrown by
an American military coup in 1954. He then met Fidel
Castro in Mexico after being disgusted by the socialist
government in Argentine.
Raul Castro – Raul Castro was born on the 3rd June 1931 in
Birán, Cuba. He is one of the younger brothers of
Fidel Castro. Raul is a Cuban revolutionary and is
currently a politician and President of the Council of
State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba since
2008.
2. Juan Almeida Bosque - Juan Almeida Bosque was
born on the 17th February 1927 in Havana, Cuba. He
was one of the original commanders of the Cuban
Revolution and he was a Vice-President of the
Cuban Council of State before dying on the 11th of
September 2009.
