2. Digital technology, also known as ‘new media’, is what is
used to create on-demand and interactive service. Digital
media is any media that is encoded in a machine-readable
format. Digital media can be created, viewed, distributed,
modified and preserved. New media technology is
described as digital, compressible and interactive. An
example of digital media is e-books.
3. When creating my horror trailer I will be using lots of
different digital technology. For filming the footage I’ll
be using a digital video camera (cam-corder) as this
will help gain the different types of cinematography.
To achieve tracking shots and more steady shots I will
need to use tracks and a tripod.
Editing software, such as Adobe Premier, for the post
production stage where the sound will be added in,
the shots cut, faded together and filters added.
I will also need to upload the finished trailer to YouTube
in order to make my trailer accessible worldwide.
