Great Britain/United Kingdom- There relationship with France was an off and
on one, until the 19th century when they helped France get rid of their Nazi
infestation.
3. France’s most convincing/influential
leaders
Aristide Briand- a French Statesmen, his main objective was to eliminate war
from the international arena
Another leader was Charles de Gaulle- he had amazing leadership skills and
he used those skills to climb up in the military ranks. He rose so much that
eventually he became president.

1830, King Charles flees France because of the middle class uprising (loss)
1842, lots of northern Iraq, parts of the Ottoman/Turkish empire is
undertaken by France, many sculptures are shipped to London and Paris
1895, Felix Faure begins his tern as president
1910, France made a boat, the SS France, as big as the Titanic, was a soon to
be popular boat
1914, Aug 9 Battle of Mulhouse begins which is the beginning of World War 1
