2.  The second half of the semester taught me
several lessons as a student
 1) Time is crucial when creating proposals and news
letters.
 2) Following guidelines and directions are most important
when completing a project.
 3)Peer-Evaluations are important not only to myself, but to
my fellow classmates.
 4) Design and formatting is not always going to be easy.
Learning and adapting to new tools is most important to
succeed in business.

3.  I used a functional outline during my program
proposal. This functional outline helped me to stay
organized, and allowed my project to flow
positively.
 A functional outline is beneficial, because it helps a
writer stay on track without loosing control of
their thoughts.
 The functional outline consist of four key elements:
1) News 2) Reason 3) Details 4) Closing.
 This tool helped me and thought me how to
created meaning behind all my work.
 I used this method and will continue to use this
method several times for future projects.

4.  The Five C’s include: 1) Clear 2) Concise
3) Complete 4) Complete 5) Courteous
 This writing tool has encouraged me to elaborate
on all assignments, so that I present a well
developed project/paper for my audience.
 Honestly, I use the Five C’s on all assignments…
especially the proposal since it was very detailed.
 I learned the Five C’s from reading the documents
on canvas.
 Attaining this knowledge is important to having a
successful career in school and general life.

5.  Chapter five was important because it educates how
business documents are constructed, which was helpful
when I made my New Proposal Program.
 The most helpful part of this chapter is the section about
picking the proper audience and how to address them.
 I learned about business writing documents and elements
by doing the assignments and reading the proper material
presented to me.
 The sample within this chapter is excellent and beneficial,
because it shows step by step on how to make memos and
proposals.
 I noticed that there are numerous types of reports, and I will
remember that when I take my courses for my business
minor.

6.  Chapter 8: Presentations and Meetings has educated me
about groups and strategies that I never considered to use.
 I believe the most beneficial criteria of this chapter was
about creating schedules for each group member. It helps to
keep everyone on track and aware of important due dates.
 I learned that listening is a key component of learning.
Listening to what others say is crucial for attaining
knowledge and direction.
 I practiced group scheduling in my ethical issues class by
making a group chat with times and information for my
group. This was beneficial because it helped keep everyone
on track.
 I will use visual aids in all my presentations, because it
keeps the audience engaged to my information being
presented.

7.  Email newsletters are important for keeping and
building a relationship to current /potential clients.
 Relationship marketing is key for building a successful
company and reputation.
 I understand now that newsletters are key to building a
large audience towards whatever your business is.
 I learned how to create an Email newsletter by making
one for the website Peter and I developed.
 I created one so people would visit our website about
traveling to Jupiter, FL.
 In the future, I might use a newsletter again if I own
my own business and need to attract new clients

8.  Chapter two is mainly about proper technology
that is used with in many workplaces.
 I used text messaging, emails, forums, and web
design this semester’s second half for interaction
between myself and other classmates.
 I learned that communication through technology
is most important for keeping on track through
deadlines.
 I practiced communication everyday, since
interaction is part of everyday life.
 I will use technology in future workplaces no
matter what job I attain in the future.

9.  The exercises for grammar helped me build
better structure for my writing projects in
professional writing.
 I practiced my grammar by using the exercises
in the modules and mostly from the peer
evaluation requirements.
 Grammar is needed in the working force today,
and that is why it is so crucial to have
tremendous grammatical skills.
 In the future, I will always need to focus on my
grammar by practicing and reading.
