1. `Facebook things
What if there was a facebook page designated specifically for each group of students that came
in so that they could make a post to everyone about any questions they have to eachother,
pictures they took etc. Plus they can keep in touch with each other after finishing the program
which will help with their networking skills etc For example JCMU Summer 2014 Facebook
page.
Is there any way to contact program alumni? It would be cool to do alumni highlights. Maybe
they just got a new awesome job or are doing something exciting. Shows potential students that
this program can take them places in the future.
Orientation Things
The powerpoints had some grammatical errors. I would just recommend that someone go
through the powerpoints other than the creator to proofread it.
Also, the powerpoints could be more professional in appearance. Maybe JCMU should agree on
a set of colors/themes that should be used for powerpoint presentations. The way text and
photos are displayed could probably be formatted a bit better. Keep in mind some people are
color blind so we’d have to be careful of that.
Overall, having professional looking blogs/presentations/pictures brings the value of the
program up so students are going to feel more comfortable making the financial investment into
the program. The tricky part is getting the professional look without spending a lot of money on
it.
