UTS is transitioning its approach to learning from Learning2014 to Learning.Futures. A 2013 survey found students doing more work on campus and using mobile technologies more compared to 2010. While technology currently assists learning, it could be improved. UTS wants students to engage in creating e-portfolios, authentic assessments, and collaboration. It is exploring how to recognize learning from formal and informal activities using analytics and seeing how students envision the future of learning.
