2. AIM OF THE PROJECT
The project aims in designing a multi-purpose security
Robot. This Robot helps in watching the premises of
industries and also alerting for different industry related
security risks.
The propose Robot is capable of detecting
Landmines,unautorized entry.
The Robot has got the automatic night vision capability.
Also, the Robot is provided with a laser gun which will be
very helpful.
The controlling of Robot is done through PC wirelessly
by accepting the speech commands given by user, which
makes controlling easier.

6. PIC is a family of Harvard architecture microcontrollers made
by Microchip Technology, derived from the PIC1640
originally developed by General Instrument's Microelectronics
Division. The name PIC initially referred to "Peripheral
Interface Controller".
A PIC's instructions vary from about 35 instructions for the
low-end PICs to over 80 instructions for the high-end PICs.
The instruction set includes instructions to perform a variety of
operations on registers directly, the accumulator and a literal
constant or the accumulator and a register, as well as for
conditional execution, and program branching.
PIC MICROCONTROLLER
7. Proximity/Metal detection sensor
A metal detection is a device which responds to metal that
may not be readily apparent.
Metal detection sensor is digital sensor. it gives the output
either 1 (if landmine detected) or 0 (if not found).
If the landmine is detected then it will alert the microcontroller,
then it will perform the concerned operation.
8. DC MOTORS
In any electric motor, operation is based on simple
electromagnetism. A current-carrying conductor generates a
magnetic field; when this is then placed in an external
magnetic field, it will experience a force proportional to the
current in the conductor, and to the strength of the external
magnetic field.
Every DC motor has six basic parts -- axle, rotor (armature),
stator, commutator, field magnet's, and brushes. In most
common DC motors the external magnetic field is produced by
high-strength permanent magnets.
9. ZIGBEE
ZIGBEE is a wireless technology developed as an open global
standard to address the unique needs of low-cost, low-power,
wireless sensor networks.
ZIGBEE is used for wireless communication that is we can
send the data through air.(with out need of any physical
connection between the transmitter and receiver.)
The protocol allows devices to intercommunicate and be
powered by batteries that last years instead of hours.
10. wireless video camera
Wireless Security Cameras are fast gaining popularity. They are
chosen above the common house surveillance cameras because
they do away with the cluster of wires and are therefore easy to
install and administer.
Wireless security cameras can be used for almost anything, from
common home surveillance like keeping an eye on the nanny or
adding security to the office or warehouse
Wireless video surveillance camera systems are therefore, much
more opted for than wired security systems
11. The ROBOT can be implemented for remote surveillances of
war field.
The robot can be used in military applications for safe
transfer of pictures.
The robot can be used for fault detection in company
premises in atomic power stations and in coal fields.
The robot can also be used for bomb detection.
12. Features of the project
Wireless controlling of Robot through PC using speech
recognition technique.
Capable of identifying different security risks and
alerting.
Shooting with the help of laser.
Automatic night vision capability
Live Audio and video can be seen on TV.
13. ADVANTAGES OF THIS PROJECTADVANTAGES OF THIS PROJECT
Wireless controlling of Robot through PC using Zigbee technology.
Capable of detecting bombs.
Capable of detecting fire.
Capable of detecting obstacles.
Shooting with the help of laser.
Alerting through buzzer alarm system.
Live Audio and video can be seen on TV.
14. DISADVANTAGES OF THIS PROJECTDISADVANTAGES OF THIS PROJECT
If the camera fails to operate the user cannot identify his own
soldiers.
If the metal detection sensor is not in a working mode then robot
can be damaged by the bombs.
If the driver mechanism fails to rotate then laser will not be
operated in a accurate manner.
15. FUTURE SCOPE
The robot can also perform the more efficient task by
using effective sensors (for metal detection, video
transmission, PIR sensor for detecting live human
beings).
