While I was in association with M/S Global Steel Holdings Limited, Nigeria as a Manager
– Civil & Structural wherein I was responsible for the construction of large industrial
units and also worked as Contract Admin. Manager at Delta Steel Company- the main
responsibilities are to issue orders for manpower / equipment / one time works etc.,
preparation of estimates based on market data rates and issue of tender enquiries,
negotiation and award of contracts like manpower, equipments, one time execution
works, and also renewal of periodical contracts.
While associated with M/S Gannon Dunkerley & CO. Ltd., executed “Cluster of
Sophisticated buildings” for Bharat Dynamics Limited, Nuclear Fuel Complex, and other
Industrial buildings for cement plant, textile manufacturing unit, power plants also
executed well cap foundation for piers, abutments for National Highway Bridge near
Mangalore. When associated with Kirloskar Brothers ltd., executed lift irrigation projects
like pump house with concrete volute suction, fore bay, convergence bay for Sardar
Sarovar project in Gujarat and construction of Effluent / Water Treatment Plants for
Indo – Dilmun Engg. Inds. Ltd., .

Main Job Responsibilities :
To carryout the entire project management for the execution of Marine Infrastructure
works like Sea Water Intake / Outfall System Projects in India / Abroad for Desalination
Plants / RO System / Thermal Power Plants.
The main responsibilities is to do the project management of the entire project in
terms of planning, execution. monitoring and controlling, quality, safety, budget
and cash flow statements. To conduct daily progress review meetings with team
members, setting up of targets keeping in view of the milestones of the projects
to be achieved. to liaison with client / consultant and appraising them about the
progress in meetings. To Co-ordinate with the material suppliers / contractors on
day to day basis for timely supply of materials and manpower and required
machinery on hire basis for the planned activities to complete as per the
schedules / mile stones of the project.
I completed three major projects of welding of 1600 / 1200 / 900 mm HDPE
pipelines and parking of all lengthy welded pipelines at parking bay, dredging at
offshore by using CSD / Barge Mounted Backhoe / Grab method etc., checking
the depths by means of bathy survey, HDPE pipe line towing into sea water,
positioning of the completed HDPE Pipeline onto the dredged portion by adopting
using DGPS Telemetry systems etc., and sinking the pipeline into the dredged
portion.
In addition to the above mentioned works also executed Micro Tunneling works
in between the Onshore / Offshore Portions and at major critical locations / major
road Crossings to avoid damages to the underground utilities etc., and also
Sheet Piling Works to create a breakwater in sea waters.

4. From Febraury – 2006 to October – 2009 .

Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited: Worked as Manager – Civil & Structural from Febraury
2006 to April – 2008 for the construction and erection of Thermo Mechanical Treated
Plant (TMT System) at Wire rod mill. And also to construct huge foundations for furnace
/ billets yard etc.,
Delta Steel Company Limited: From May – 2008 to October – 2009 as a Contract Admin
Manager is to prepare and issue of tender inquiries for all works of steel plant / schools /
colleges / hospitals etc., working of detailed data rates for all works, cross verification of
data rates from the market, Preparation of estimates, negotiation and award of contracts
like manpower, equipments, one time execution works, renewal of contracts. In addition
to the above execution / monitoring of various civil construction activities.

execution of Civil Works of Concrete Volute Pumps, Pump House, Gate Way Structure,
Fore Bay, Convergence Bay, Auxiliary Buildings like Sub Station etc.,
The main works involved are large depth excavations, Concrete foundations, huge
thickness concrete walls, RCC slabs, Brackets for the movement of EOT Cranes,
Fabrication and erection of Structural steel members, fixing of roof sheets etc., and to
maintain all the works and to achieve the desired quality as per the standard limits, to
guide all the sub-contractors who are executing the works.
