1. The genre I have chosen for my magazine has to Hip-hop because I listen to it the most out of
the three, so have quite a lot of experience in that genre and feel like I’d follow the codes and
conventions of magazines in this particular genre because I’ve seen a few examples of what
they should look like and would fit my target audience and stand out from others by the first
issue. It will also be the most fun out of the three to create because it will have a bit more colour
than a Rock magazine and might potentially get to use the lighting resources for the front cover
because the codes and conventions of Hip-Hop magazines is that the model can be black, so if
my model is dark, I will have to use it, so that they don’t blend into the background and can
stands out more.
