1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this project?
During this project, I have learnt how to use a wide range of technologies to apply in my final outcome. The
software's I have used are Slideshare, Prezzi, Blogger, Mobile Phone, Camera, and Photoshop.
To create my analysis of my front cover/contents page, I decided to use PowerPoint rather than Emuse
because I found it easier and not as complex to use. By using PowerPoint, my work looked better because I
knew how to navigate the program.
By using Photoshop, I was trained by the teachers to understand what to do. This allowed me to add in new
features into my front cover and contents page with ease. I found Photoshop challenging to use, mainly
because I have not used it before. This program challenged my use of technology which I found useful as now
I have skills to use in the future.
Another type of technology I used was my camera on my phone and the cameras from college. The camera
from college was a bit complex to use as each feature on the camera was explained for its use. I found that
using my camera on my phone was too simple, yet it had nice quality. For the location recce, I decided to use
my camera on my phone because it is more portable and the dimensions were easier to work with.
To upload all of my work and documents, I used Slideshare. I like Slideshare because it was easy to navigate
and the documents you wanted would appear on the blog nicely.
I really did not enjoy using Prezzi as most of the program was difficult to use. I found that the theme of the
presentations did not suit the work we were doing and a simple PowerPoint presentation could suit it better. I
think I would only use Prezzi for a presentation aimed at a younger audience as the appearance looks inviting
for adolescents.
Finally, I have used blogger to show all of this on my blog. I don’t mind blogger as it is easy to use because the
layout is simple. I used blogger for my production diary and my features on my blog.
