way to present

page. If the contents
page was full on text
it would look very
plain and tedious to
read which is off
putting to fans.

Pull quotes are used to show the
reader what key things the artist is
talking about in interviews. Often
pull quotes get your attention and
make you want to read the rest of
the article.
Explanatory text gives extra detail
and can make the reader want to
read on.
Date is included to inform the
reader of how up to date the
information is and how long the
next issue will be e.g. for upcoming
features.
