1. Ganesh Himal Trek:
Day 01: Arrival In Kathmandu
Up on arrival in Tribhuban international airport in Kathmandu, you will meet our representative
and driver to your hotel. After arriving in hotel, our reprehensive will help you check in and he
will briefed you about your tour. Our reprehensive will you invite you welcome dinner at an
excellent traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you will enjoy a Nepalese culture dance

Day 02 Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Today is your second day in Kathmandu, so you will visit the historical and cultural heart of
Kathmandu and has been a popular destination for tourists. The city presents a wonderful mix of
Hinduism, Buddhism, Tibetan and Western influence. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major
neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a
guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist
stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, and Swoyambhunath. Bhaktapur is popular for its medieval
temples and Durbar Square. As you visit Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King
Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple, the 15th century Malla Palace of 55 windows and other
historical monuments, you gain invaluable insight into Nepalese culture. You also visit Patan,
which is 5km away from Kathmandu . Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple,
Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple and Golden Temple are the major attractions of Patan.
Evening pre-trip counseling and ensure once again trekking gears, medical kid and trek
legalization needs. (Evening pre-trip discussion: a trekking gear and medical kit check, visa and
legalization requirements.) Overnight in 3-4 star hotel
Day 03: Kathmandu - Syabru Besi
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about nine hours. You head north out of
Kathamndu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through
Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli river you catch a glimpse of
Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are
heading towards deep land. At the same time, you notice that the road is still under
construction.
Day 04: Syabrubesi- Gatlang
Trek From Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2238m) via Goljung and takes about six hours. While
trekking you experience of the Tamang culture. You can see scenery from view point. This day
you walk through village. The culture show Goljung and Gatlang makes your trekking a
memorable one. Gatlang set high on a hillside among terraced fields is a Tamang settlement.
One can visit a Tamang monastery and beautiful Parvatikunda Lake at Gatlang.
Day 05: Gatlang – Somdang
2. Trek from Gatlang to Somdang (3500m) which takes about 5 hours. You walk along the
graveled but motor able road. Though regular transport is not available till now. While trekking,
you can enjoy the spectacular mountain views of Langtang Himal rangs, Ganesh Himal, Paldor
peak and many more other unnamed mountain and peaks. You pass some Tamang village
where you can have a close observation of their culture and tradition. Somdang is Tamang
village. There you find zinc mines.
Day 06: Somdang – Pansang Bhanjyang
Trek from Somdang to Pansang bhajyang (3850m) via Paldor Bhanjyang(3600m) and it takes
about 7 hours. You walk along the trail moves through village, forests and terraces. On the way
you can enjoy beautiful views of green hills.
Day 07: Pansang Bhanjyang – Chalise
Trek from Pansang Bhanjyang to Clalise that about 7 hours.
The trails you follow is quit descent at 1st
and then it climbs up for some distance. En rout, you
cross forests covered with bamboo, pine, rhododendron and walterfalls. Tipling is the 1st
village
you encounter on this route. It is a big Tamang village which is rich in mixed culture and has
chorten and church. The houses are made of wood, tin and stones. People living here have
their distinct life style and they are involved in making goods from bamboo sticks. You can see
farming terraces where farmers grow potatoes, wheat barley, buck wheat, maize and green
vegetable. Now you have to climb down steeply until you cross a suspension bridge over
Gorkhen Khiola (Stream). After you cross, the trails go uphill upto Sertung Chalise. It is also a
Gurung village. People of this area welcome the trekkers with their local culture.
Day 08: Chalise – Hindung
Trek from Chlise to Hindung wich takes about 5 hours.
The early part of the trail goes downhill up to menchet Khola ( Stream) and crossing this stream
you trek steep up and then gradual up reach Hindung. This day you pass small Tamang village,
small forest, farming terraces and the farmers grow potatos, millet, barley, maize, beans and
other vegetables. You find mani walls and prayer flags in some part of the villages. One thing to
be noticed is that is the last village you pass while trekking to ganesh Himal Base camp.
Day 09 : Hindung – Rajgang Kharka
Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka and it takes about 5 hours.
After leaving Hindung you will rarely find terraces. The rout up to Rajgang Kharka is ascent and
flat as well. You walk along the trail covered with forest s of rhododendron and local vegeration.
These forest are the nestling place of various species of birds and wild animanls. Rajgang
Kharka is surrounding by beautiful forest and it mainly grassland. Expect winter season the
people bring domestic animal especially sheep for grazing.
Day 10: Rajgang Kharka 0- Kalo Seto Kunda
3. Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Seto Kalo Kunda ( Black and White Lake) Ganesh Himal base
camp which takes about 6 hours. The trail is narrow and mives mostly uphill and leveled path
somewhere. You walk along the trail covered with forests for few hours. Towards the ending
the trail moves along the land where you rarely find any trees. You find alpine grass here due to
high altitude. At Kalo Seto Kunda there are two lakes of holy significance. The surface of Kalo or
Black lake is covered with black stones. On the contrary the surface of Seto Kunda or white lake
is covered with white shining stones. Durung winter season there lakes are frozen.
Day 11 : Rest day at Base Camp.
On this day you can have an excursion in and around Kalo Seto Kunda. From here you can
enjoy Ganesh Himal, Paldor Himal and many others.
Day 12 : Base Camp –Rajgang Kharka
Trek From Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka and it takes about 6 hours. You trek
along the descent and narrow path where you find alping grass on both side.
Day 13: Rajgang Kharka – Chalise
Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2000m) which take about 6 hours. The trail moves down
hill all the way to Chalise. While trekking you pass forests till Hindung and crossing it you find
few Tamang villages.
Day 14: Chalise to Jharlang
From Chalise to Jharlang which takes approximately 8 hours. The early part of your trails is
gently up until you arrive at small ridge. From here, you enjoy spectacular view of ganesh Himal,
farming terraces, waterfall and several villages at a distance. Now you climb down the ridge and
cross farming terraces local villages. After you take lunch at Borang, your trails turn downhill
and uphill respectively to Jharlang. It can be best described as Tamang village with its mixed
culture.
Day 15: Jharlang to Darkha
From Jharlang to Dharkha and it takes about 7 hours. Crossing landslide nearby Jharlang, you
begin your trek through ascent path views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Jungle, Waterfall, farming
terraces and village. Dhakha is the 1st
Bramin Village on this trek. From here you can enjoy the
view of Aankhu stream at some distance.
Day 16: from darkhu to khahare Bazar that takes about 7 hours. The early part of your trek upto
Darkha phedi and your route moves along the river bank until you reach Khahare. There is big
market at Khahare Bazar with lodges, tea shop, big school and other important buildings. This
place is famous for magnificent views of farming terraces.
Day 17: Khahare Bazar to Kathmandu
4. Drive from Khahare bazaar to Kathmandu by bus or jeep which takes approximately eight
hours.
The road till Dhadingbesi moves through unpaved road and then you drive along the well paved
road until you reach Kathamdnu. It can be best defined as scenic journey due to the beautiful
views of rivers, hills, terraces, forests and villages.
