1. Everest Base Camp
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Welcome by our representative and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about the
program by your guide.
overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between 12th and 18th Centuries, used
to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. It is the place where kings of Nepal are
crowned and their coronations solemnized. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone
inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. Kumari Temple.
Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting mélange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and
graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is
the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of
bronze statues and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is 17th century
temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2610m/ 4hrs).
After taking breakfast, from the domestic airport, we flight to Lukla [2860m] by Twin Otter.
Upon arrival on the airport your guide gives you brief and introduce other staff.
We start our trek descending towards Dudhkoshi River, from where we can join main trail to
Namche Bazar. The walking is easy and after passing a village of Ghat, after short walking we
reach Phakding.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/ 6hrs).

2. After breakfast, we continue trekking from Phakding, we cross the Dudh Koshi river, majestic
river many times exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. There are snow peaks
Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamsherku (6623m). The trek continues upstream on generally
flat terrain, crossing back to the right bank, to the confluence of the Bhote Koshi and Dudh
Koshi rivers; it is here that we start the steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazar is also
called gateway of Mt. Everest.
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar.
Trekking start up 3 to 4 hour climb up from the Namche, and at 3,500 meters, traditionally the
village was a trading post, with locals bartering yak cheese and butter for agricultural goods
grown at lower altitudes. The village also boasts three small museums, a stupa, monastery,
several cafes (locally known as bakeries) and many well stocked stores.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, (3867m/6 hrs)
The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of
the mountains. We trek to an altitude of 3867 meters today. On reaching Tengboche you will
see the local monastery. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot
sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The group will be
taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the
day's trekking went.
Day 07: Tengboche to Tengboche, (4530m/6 hrs).
Trek continues from Tengboche to Dingboche takes approximately six hours.. After walking few
time, we can see the Imjatse Valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse and
Lhotse with views of the eastern snow capped mountains including the Island Peak or Imjatse
(6,189m). Dingboche is a beautiful. patchwork of fields enclosed by stone walls protecting the
crops of barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals.
Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m/6 hrs).
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche which takes about six hours. The trek starts a downward path
to Pheriche village. Today's walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the
north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. After two hours

3. walk, the trail from Pheriche joins near Dugla (4595m) before a small wooden bridge over the
river of Khumbu glacier. After a short break at Dugla, continue trekking up to Lobuche.
Day 09: Labuche to Gorakhshep (5164/3hrs).
After starting trekking, we can Views of different peaks, like Cholatse and Lobuche on
spectacular landscape. We trek to the Dhugla Ridge and onto moraine towards the Khumbu
Glacier. We enjoy spectacular views all day today of Pumori and Nuptse. The hill above the
town affords fine sunset views of Nuptse.
Day 10: Gorapshep to Everest base camp 5400m and back to Gorapshep (5 hrs) and overnight
or(Gorapshep Kalapattar-Gorapshep) 3 hrs.
We trek alongside the Khumbu Glacier as the path winds over the rocky moraine towards the
settlement of Gorak Shep. We are high, among the glaciers of the world's highest peaks.
Following our arrival at Gorak Shep we have an early lunch before we commence our trek to
Everest Base Camp. In the pre monsoon season many expeditions can be seen at base camp
and this excursion is one of the highlights of the trek.
Day 11: Kala Patthar (5364m), & trek Dingboche (4530m/7 hrs)
We can see the area where expeditions set their base camp but the original site was at Lake
Camp, now known as Gorak Shep. Take a look in every direction and soak it in. The view south
and our route out, is particularly beautiful. In the afternoon we make the return trek to our
private permanent camp at Dingboche, soon after setting off we reach the site of a row of
cairns to Sherpa climbers who died on Everest, before we continue to the small settlement at
Tugla. Our path on an old lateral moraine takes us to the sheltered village of Dingboche and our
permanent camp. To the east at the head of the Imja Khola valley sits the pyramid peak of Imja
Tse (6189 m). This afternoon we can walk up the ridge behind Dingboche for sunset views of
Nuptse, Lhotse and Chhukung Peak.
Day 12 Dingboche -Namche Bazar. 5 hours

4. There can be a tendency now to rush, particularly as we are walking downhill, but there is still
much to see. We descend to Pangboche and visit its historic old monastery, thought to be the
oldest in the Khumbu. Continue on to our private permanent camp at Deboche for the night.
Day 13: Namche Bazaar trek to Lukla (7 hrs) .
On the last lap of our trekking we follow the Dudh Koshi down to Lukla.
Day 14: Lukla fly to Kathmandu, End of the trek.
Day 15: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, visit Thamel & dinner with cultural programme.
Bhaktapur City Durbar Square: As you walk in, you cannot but be overcome by a feeling of
inner harmony. Such is the art and architecture and the special layout here. The 15th century
Palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspires
admiration. The National Art Gallery is also situated inside. The palace entrance, Golden Gate
that is the entrance to the main courtyard of the palace of 55 windows, is masterpiece in
repousse art .In front of the palace building is a medley of temples of various designs. There are
temples like Batsala Temple and the Shiva temple, the replica of Pashupatinath Temple &
Nyatapola Temple etc.
Day 16: Departure.
