1. Jomsom Muktinath Trekking
Muktinath : Mukti (Salvation) holds great significance for all spiritual people in the south Asian sub continent.
Muktinath (the provider of salvation) has been one such holy site, where thousands of devotees flock for
attaining the much sought after moksha.
The famous temple of Lord Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang and is situated about 18 kms northeast of
Jomsom in the north center part of Nepal, at an altitude of about 3750 meters. Named after highly referred
Muktinath shrine, the valley is one of religious place in Nepal for both Hindus and Buddhist. Hindus call it
Muktichhetra (Place of salvation). Many Shaligrams found by Hindu people here are considered as an
incarnation of lord Vishnu and worship them. Similarly Buddhist calls this valley the Chumig Gyatsa (Place of
108 water spouts.
There are two ways to get to Muktinath from Kathmandu. Either you can take a direct flight from Kathmandu
via Pokhara to Jomsom, hike for a couple of hours via Kagbeni or trek all the way from Pokhara. There is also
an air service from Pokhara to Jomsom.

Trip day to day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Flying to Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is in itself an exciting and memorable
experience. As you fly, the panoramic view of snow-capped Annapurna mountain range greets your sight. After
the completion of Visa formalities, you have to come downstairs to collect Luggage and proceed to outside
from terminal Building. Please look at your Printed Name and and follow them, then you will be transferred to
hotel. You will be served free welcome drinks, tea or coffee or juice at the time of check in.
Day 02: Sight seeing Kathmandu
After the breakfast in the morning, our city guide will come to the hotel with vehicles and then we leave hotel to
visit Kathmandu Darbar Square, the house of living Goddess Kumari, the ferocious Kal Bhairab, The Red
Monkey God and hundreds of erotic carvings. Swayambhunath is the worlds most glorious Buddhist
Chaityas.It is said to be 2000 years old.
2. Boudhanath is a huge Buddhist stupa located about 7 km east of Thamel. It stands on a massive mandala
style platform and has features similar to the Swayambhunath, though it is bigger than Swayambhunath in
size. It is said that this stupa was built during the 5th Century. Every year, Thousands of pilgrims from Nepal
and neighboring countries visit Boudhanath, particularly in winter and Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath
temple is the biggest Hindu temple.
Day 03 Kathmandu to Pokhara:
Early in the morning, transfer to pokhara bus station & drive seven hours to Pokhara, check in at hotel and
evening Phew lake exploration.
Day 04: Fly Pokhara to Jomsom, trek to Kagbeni.
Early in the morning, we go to Pokhara Airport to catch a flight to Jomsom. After reaching Jomsong, we take
short trek to Kagbeni via Kaligandaki. (As the trail continues towards Jomsom, the landscape becomes
increasingly arid and impressive with its mixture of browns, yellows and grey, contrasting with the white
snowcaps of Tilicho and Nilgiri. By afternoon, the stiff winds begin to blow, hastening our way to Jomsom.
Day 05:Kagbeni-Moktinath (3800M)
Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3795 m.) which takes about 4 hours. The Trail steeply ascends for couple of
hundred Meters. While gradually walking, you can enjoy beautiful deserted landscape, Caves, old Tibetan
Style Villages , apple Garden , Yaks Herds, Sheep Herds and so on. You can look at Thorong La valley
straight up to the Muktinath. You can enjoy delicious lunch at Jharkot and visit Monastery believed to be built in
15 century. Now you head towards Muktinath following steep ascent path for half an hour. You stay overnight
at Muktinath village. From here you hike to Rani Pauwa (3700m.), an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus
and Buddhists. Here you come across Natural flaming which really exhilarates you. At this point, you can see
splendid view of Dhaulagiri (8165m), Nilgiri (7061m.) and others. Now you walk for fifteen minutes to reach
Muktinath Temple , where you can enjoy a holy bath of 108 Taps. The people of Kagbeni, Jharkot and
Muktinath are close to the life style, culture, religion and idea of Tibetan people.
Day 06: Muktinath to Jomsom [2713m]
We now begin descent down the dramatic Kali Gandaki valley, initially through arid country in the same
geographical and climatic zone as Tibet . After passing through Jharkot and Khingar, villages with typical
Tibetan architecture, we follow the valley floor most of the way to Jomsom. En route, we sight tremendous
views of both Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Jomsom is a large town sprawled along both banks of the Kali Gandaki
River , and it is here we will spend the final night of our trek. [Walk approx 3 hours]
Day 07: Flight Jomsom to Pokhara
We take an early morning flight to Pokhara. It is a spectacular flight along the Kali Gandaki Gorge and provides
wonderful views of both the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. We then catch a further flight back to
Kathmandu.
Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning, transfer to pokhara tourist bus station for driving back to Kathmandu and it takes around 6
hours, check in Hotel in Kathmandu , overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu .

3. Day 11: Departure your destination.
Transfer to international airport for your final departure. The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you
to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal
