       Led an on-site team of engineers and support staff at the customer’s premises (Omnipoint) in the NY-MTA with the support of a Nortel RF design team
        based in Richardson, Texas.
       Our RF team designed one of five regions (North Bronx and Lower Westchester County) of the Omnipoint’s NY-MTA initial deployment of their North
        American GSM (PCS 1900) wireless mobile phone network.
       Responsibilities included collecting and evaluating technical data from multiple sources, interfacing with vendors, site acquisition companies, and a
        multi-disciplinary site visit team comprised of an architect, a civil engineer, a structural engineer, a site acquisition representative and an electrical
        contractor.
       Worked in close coordination with other RF and network design teams and management at Omnipoint (now T-Mobile-USA).
       Working knowledge of frequency planning, radio/telephone traffic engineering, zoning testimony, radio telephony, propagation analysis and testing, as
        well as FCC and FAA requirements.
       Activities included radio network design, propagation analysis and testing, site evaluation and selection, participation at a variety of weekly design
        meeting with engineering and senior management.
