Comparative Analysis of The Attention–Getter and The Denouement: In the movie The Incredibles,
the director Brad Bird had the beginning of the film start with interviews of the heroes to subvert
viewer expectations and have the audience focus on the people behind the masks. After interview
scene, an action police chase takes place so that the audience would be on the edge of their seats
interested to watch the film. The attention–getter draws the audience in as they can easily
understand the heroes personalities before the action takes place. The police chase is fast paced and
there are lots of fast camera movements occurring. As well, in the attention–getter Mr. Incredible is
trying to multitask and time is ticking which leaves the audience with curiosity to see what will

progresses he realises he cannot do everything by himself and needs his family to help him.

communicate with the spirit world. Her parents have lost touch with their ability to notice things

Although Bob was a bit rusty in some places he manages to destroy the robot. He went back several
more times to defeat the robots and buffed up when he could. Those are his challenges and

Once Helen found his old super suit recently torn, she went to the designer, Edna Mode, whose role
is a mentor. She had created a series of new suits for Bob, Helen, and the kids. Helen uses a jet to

real client is, a kid he rejected as a sidekick several years prior, when he was still a super hero. The

heard the right story about what happened I was only trying to save the city not destroy it The
Incredibles have the story all wrong I am the good guy and they are the bad guys and i'm gonna tell
you why. This is how it all started when I was 10 years old I got to meet Mr. Incredible and he was
my hero and all I wanted was to work with him and be apart of his team. Mr. Incredible yelled at me
back and said "No one wants you dumb kid I work alone.." That destroyed me as a kid and like they
say sometimes your hero turns into your enemy and in this case that is true.

Disney/Pixar," Ken Gillam and Shannon R. Wooden examine multiple movies and point out that the
leading male characters in "Cars," "Toy Story," and "The Incredibles," are victims of emasculation.
Prior to Disney/Pixar releasing nine movies, Disney conveyed all its main male characters to be
"alpha male" (472). However, Pixar opened new types of characters, those that led to having the
characters' masculinity stripped by another supporting character in the film. The authors draw
attention from the strong male model to the "New Man" (476) role. Gillam and Wooden focus on the
main male characters in each of the movies who all start with a high machismo personality, which
rapidly transitions into an effeminate identity.
Buzz, Woody, Mr. Incredible, and Lighting McQueen all assumed they were going to achieve the

Sound design is a fairly broad concept and can represent more than a few different things, but one of
the key parts of the sound design that stuck out to me as I watched this movie was how the
characters sounded based on the various environments they were in. One example of this comes
during the final battle of the movie, as the Incredibles and Frozone are battling the Omnidroid in the
middle of town. In one of these scenes, Mr. Incredible is grabbed by the Omnidroid and is
immediately thrown to the ground. As he falls, however, you can hear his voice growing louder as

shot of his fall, his voice is now far more quiet, as his distance from the camera has increased. This

Inequalities in the United States have existed for as long as we can remember. Everyone has their
own set of thoughts, values, and beliefs. This significant difference in all humans is what has caused
unequal treatment among people in the country. A substantial fraction of the U.S. still discriminates
against people who do not look, think, or speak like them. The second paragraph of the Declaration
of Independence states that "all men are created equal". However, some people still do not
understand that everyone is, in fact, entitled to their own rights and happiness. Everybody should
also be allowed and encouraged to reach their highest levels of success. However, modern–day
society is trying to create a new generation that celebrates uniformity and mediocrity. With a lack of
societal diversity, people do not have to worry about feeling insignificant or less than others who
might seem superior. Some might feel that this should be the future of America, where everyone is
"equal" in every aspect. I am part of a group of people who believe that this kind of equal
oppression would shatter everyone's original imagination, creativity, intelligence, and overall
individuality.

For some reason nothing seems to turn out correctly and there is always a piece missing. As we
grow up we learn what makes us an individual, and that individuality can cause insecurities. Being a
teenage girl is hard enough; your hormones skyrocket, your body begins changing, you will get your
first true crush, and you have begun questioning who you are. But what if you were forced to hide
your true self at all times? That was Violet 's everyday life. In the Incredibles, Violet is the teenage
daughter of a superfamily. For many teenage years is about finding yourself and realizing what
