 Clear cut overgrowth of non-native plants and trees for Francis Marion National Forest and State Park, in order to
protect the habitat for the red-cockaded woodpecker. Planted over 1000 trees to facilitate the reforestation of
damaged land from Hurricane Hugo.
 Performed trail blazing and maintenance for the Marine Resource Research Institute of Charleston to include
painting, repairing and the building of a ranger station.
 Performed cultural preservation on 60-acre parcelof the McLeod Plantation State Historical Site of James Island
where our teams planted sweat grass for the use of the local Gulu Tribe population to make sweat grass baskets to
sell to the local community.
 Designed, organized and built the extension of Atlanta’s Omenala-Griot Afrocentric Teaching Museum’s
walkway as part of an expansion project. Allowing access to kids and cultural submersion of a lost heritage.
 Trained for working with the elderly at the Quality Living Service of Fulton County. Provided elder care, home
assistance and assisted in the remodeling of the community center facilities.
 Trail blazed, facilitated the design, and implemented a new electronically interactive educational trail walk system
for Drayton Hall Plantation Charleston. Performed warf stabilization of an archeological embankment with over
