capitalize and expand upon my strengths in leadership, people/team management, and business development. The ideal corporate

EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHS
Leadership & Training Development
 During 2 tours in Iraq I helped stand up and implement the training curriculum, facilities, and equipment for a specialized school
for conducting security/law enforcement in the maritime environment. My 8 man team worked alongside 13 Iraqi Marine
platoons conducting operations, training their trainers, and provided courses to facilitate the program. We also broke cultural
barriers having officers train alongside enlisted personnel, something never before done under their old regime. The facility and
4 week course is still convening, remains in Iraq and continues to train their Marines 8 years later.
Resource Management
 Managed and coordinated a multi-agency command composed of cross-functional federal and local law enforcement agencies
combating drug and migrant smuggling along southern border of California. Organized air, land, and sea assets; presented plans
to key players based on analysis of current and previous intelligence data; and this operational planning lead to 84 seized vessels,
296 alien migrants apprehended and 15,087 lbs of narcotics interdicted. Negatively impacted local trafficking organization cells.
Program Management
 Simultaneously managed 2 programs, the Tactical Law Enforcement Team and the Canine Explosive Detection Program. These
programs consist of more than 10 units, 18 law enforcement detachments and 16 explosive detection teams. Support more than
230 personnel, a $500 thousand dollar budget, and support operations internal and external to US territory. I managed internal
and external cross functional teams to oversee policy/doctrine, techniques/procedures, training, and operational tactics.
Corporate Networking
 Coast Guard liaison to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, networked with HQ directorates and commands. Simultaneously identifying
subject matter experts, facilitating review, & compiling staff policy in direct support of major Joint Chiefs of Staff decisions
regarding service policy, implementing change, and process improvement. Processed more than 425 joint action responses
having lasting effects on multiple initiatives ranging from response plans to a nuclear threat, to civil rights within the military.
Team and Personnel Management
 As a Law Enforcement Detachment Team Leader I managed a 9 man team specializing in counter drug missions off the coast of
Central and South America. In real time I coordinated with legal representatives, international government officials, and LE
intelligence via satellite phone and secure computer communications the take down of vessels moving tons of cocaine. My team
seized more than 10 tons of cocaine, 6 go fast vessels, and 2 semi submarines destined for US soil.
