The United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain are its largest export destinations. Its major imports include refined petroleum, raw cotton, palm oil, and fabrics from China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea. Bangladesh's export earnings for 2013-2014 were projected to be $30.5 billion but came in at $30.2 billion, and its import earnings have increased from $22.5 billion in 2008-2009.
